Nestled around majestic fairy chimneys, this property surpassed our expectations. The cave room was immaculate and beautifully decorated while maintaining the feel of staying a cave. Waking up to the views of hot air balloons followed by an amazing breakfast was the perfect start to the day. The heated pool is all you need to relax after a day of sightseeing. Special mention to the staff who made sure our stay was comfortable. They coordinated to get our missing luggage delivered to the hotel. THANK YOU!

One of the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Local Cave Suite which is stunning. The Turkish decor is incredible. It was obvious that a lot of thought went into it to ensure the guest was surrounded by beauty and comfort. The suite is very roomy with its own terrace to view the hot air balloons flying over. The bed is huge and so comfortable. The bathroom is massive with a gorgeous bath and separate shower. The golden lighting in the bathroom made it feel like a soothing oasis. It was like having your own spa in your accommodation. In addition to our own suite and private terrace, there were additional terraces to relax in and share travel experiences with other guests if you wish. One terrace is decorated with Turkish rugs, cushions and a small bookshelf with books. I nicknamed it the hippie inspired corner. Then there is the beautiful pool in the centre of the courtyard and the delicious and very generous Turkish breakfast. Lastly, the staff are so welcoming, helpful and so cool (in a good way). When we first arrived and a staff member came to the entrance to help us with our luggage up the stairs, we asked if we could check in early as we arrived two hours before the check in time. The response was: “If the room is available, why not.” That relaxed, friendly attitude set the tone for the remainder of our stay. Staying at the Local Cave House Hotel is a beautiful memory we will treasure. Thank you to the staff for an unforgettable experience.

The pool closes early around 8:00PM.

It is like a boutique hotel. It is very clean and the room was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge!!! Our booking included breakfast which was excellent and a lot of food, more than we could actually eat. The staff was very helpful and prompt to respond on our needs.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Everything was exceptional and we especially loved the breakfast, pool, and lounge areas. The cave room was comfortable for sleeping. But the best part by far was the staff, so warm and welcoming, especially Amin who always had the biggest smile on his face no matter what time of day/night and always went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect.

Everything was perfect, the staff were amazing. They organised our transfers from the airport and the horse riding tour and hot air balloon. They were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is close to the main strip of shops. The room was supplied with free tea/coffee and snacks.

Our room was on the ground floor, slightly tight and dark. The lighting in the bedroom was also not good. The shower head was not stable (removable), as a result, it splashed water all over the bathroom as you tried to turn it on.

The location, was very central but still in a quite area. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast and using the pool. Really is a place to take it easy and relax. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nothing, everything was perfect - however it is worth to point out - these are authentic cave rooms, therefore expect some dusts/stones to fall from the ceilings. - there are no lifts in the hotel, however the workers were extremely helpful in carrying up your suitcases. - the hotel key is huge & it fits the design/feel of the hotel. It will fit in a side bag so deffo pack one!

Every corner of this hotel was magic. Everything was beautifully designed, lovely decor & spectacular views at sunrise. The breakfast spread was fantastic, the watermelon slices offered on poolside was lovely & the endless Turkish tea!! The staff were so kind and helpful, especially the cleaning ladies. There are so many cats roaming the hotel which was a bonus! Excellent location - down the hill you will meet the Main Street filled with shops, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops & tourism shops. Super easy organisation for airport pick up too, which is also much cheaper than a taxi. Absolutely delightful in every regard!!

Very cozy and charming small hotel. The room is very spacious, clean and beautiful. There is a hairdryer, toiletteries, water. The pool is nice cold, very refreshing in that hot weather. The breakfast is not buffet but given big choice. The views from the hotel are amazing and air balloons are flying around during the sunrise. The staff is friendly. You can park your car on the street next to the hotel free of charge. The hotel is located walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Our stay at Local Cave was amazing, we really loved the place. It is in the center of Goreme, close to all you may need and in the pick-up area for hot air balloon and for tours. The room in the cave was beautiful and so were the pool and the view. Breakfast was very rich and varied. On the check-out day our bus was late at night and they let us wait by the pool the whole day, the staff was so kind during the whole stay. Strongly recommended! :)

Goreme is very touristy, but the hotel is not and lovely.

Lovely hotel with great pool and fantastic rooms. Manager very helpful with organising trips. Breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the family room. (the family room has 2 bathrooms, one connected to the kids' room, one to the adults'). One of the nicer hotels we stayed in.
