This is a great hotel. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. For example, one of us had trouble with her sim-card, so the host herself went with our friend to a shop, where they solved the problem completely for free. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern. Breakfasts are very good. The location is great: 5 mins on foot from Kadir Has University. The hosts offered us coffe for free all day long, even when we came back late at night. We feel there like at home. We are grateful to the hosts for making our stay in Istanbul so great and we will be back!

Ela, the husband and one staff are so amazing people. They are so kind, and attentive of everything you need - from arranging my transfer, to places to go, etc. My room is cute, super clean, they were cleaning and changing towels everyday. Some toiletries were readily available. They are super helpful, we were always chatting in the dining area like old friends. There is one staff that is so kind and helpful. Two dogs and 1 cat are a plus too. My stay was so comfy and peaceful.

I had an excellent time in the Lotus Hotel. The equipment may be simple (like no lift and wallpapers have seen their days) but it´s enough (and beds are good). What´s good in particular: The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I felt very much at home. The location is great, 3 metro stations or 10 minutes from Eminönü, the Hotel 5 minutes from Fener station. Or 2 minutes more, if you choose to go through the Ayakapi, which i liked to do. The neighbourhood itself is great - so many little shops and restaurants serving the locals, so that price and quality are the best deal. I should have followed the hotel managers advice and eaten more often there, Hadziocoglu Cafe recommended. There are even some hip (Yolo Cafe) or chic Cafes (at the Ayakapi). Try them all out.

Husband and wife were so kind to me. They speak good English. It's an old hotel, felt very authentic Turkish! near the water and an old Greek Orthodox church. The setting is in the old city, but away from the tourist crowd. I'm very glad I stayed there.

They are very kind and work hard to make sure you’re comfortable. It’s in a convenient location for quickly using public transportation (including to and from IST airport), particularly the tram. The surrounding area is a relaxed non-touristy neighborhood with affordable shops and some good restaurants. Great portion size and quality breakfast for the price (€2 or equivalent).

The owners are really nice people, i liked the dogs, and the cats. The city center is very close, and easy to reach with tram. The room is simple, but for me it was ok. The breakfast was really nice with melon everyday.

Some of the furniture and appliances in the suite are probably should be repaired or renovated, but nothing was really critical for me.

First of all I really like the staff and administration, they are kind and hospitable people, and there is a very friendly atmosphere inside a hotel. Location is quite nice: a peaceful place, close to Balat neighborhood and aside from a noisy areas but still not so far away from the city center. Breakfasts were amazing, very nice option to choose! A hotel suite is also quite good, I liked the most a quality of the new mattress in a bed, and air conditioners are very powerful, so it was easy to get comfortable temperature inside a room. I appreciate that.

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is cosy and lovely. The staff - are the kindest and the friendliest people. The 🐕, 🐕 and 🐈 made our morning every day. Moreover, the breakfast is nutritive and healthy. People who try to find the dirt or the wrongs and turn it into negative reviews - it is totally a lie, check the dirt under your own beds.
