Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe staff, and Cenk especially, made my stay exceptional!! You can easily tell just how much they care about you and how proud they are of their hotel. The hotel is beautifully charming. Rooms are cozy and so tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfasts were extremely delicious, complete with Turkish coffee and homemade orange liqueur. I will stay here again in a heart beat! The location can't be beat!

IndiaThe rooms were a bit small but we were informed in advance. Lightings are in yellow color which makes getting ready in the bathroom a bit difficult.
We loved our stay at Hotel Lykia. The staff were kind and went the extra mile to provide us early breakfast and made sure we were comfortable. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. We had our best and nourishing breakfast in this hotel. The property is well- located and 5 mins away from the harbor.

United KingdomThe only negative thing I would say is the bedroom was rather compact and it was a shame they didn’t move us to a bigger room as there were some available! However the room overlooked the garden which was lovely.
Beautiful boutique hotel, in the heart of the old town with everything on your down step. Friendly, helpful staff, we loved the breakfast! Lovely bathroom with a great shower which is important to us!

United States Minor Outlying IslandsEverything was very good. I didn't realize that historic section of Antalya had such active nightllife with live music at a number of establishments. There was some noise from a nearby bar with live music from about 7:30- pretty late. Closing the window helped, but the noise was still audible. I still got good night's sleep. Beds super comfortable. Everything else was fabulous.
The staff were all exceptional. They were friendly, helpful and all went above and beyond to help make the stay great. The breakfast was so delicious and lots of homemade pastries and jellies/jams.The hotel location was quite good too.

IndiaMy stay at Lykia Hotel was absolutely delightful! This boutique hotel is a hidden gem with a unique charm. The staff here were incredibly attentive and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. The decor throughout the hotel is not only cute but also adds a warm and inviting ambiance. If you're looking to explore the old town, you can't beat the location of Lykia Hotel – it's conveniently situated for easy access to all the historical sites and attractions. I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel for a memorable stay in the heart of the old town!

United KingdomNothing - everything was great!
This is a beautiful small hotel in the most perfect location in the Old Town. There is a car park an easy stroll away which is extremely good value. The young couple who run the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, and really made our stay very special indeed. They pointed out all of the places to visit in the Old Town providing us with a walking route/map. Our room was wonderful, extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable. There was even a choice of pillows to suit all tastes! The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious too (including homemade date & walnut bread and preserves plus a choice of omelettes, cold meats and cheeses). This can be taken in the pretty courtyard garden overlooking the small swimming pool. We can highly recommend this hotel - you will not be disappointed!

United StatesNothing.
Hotel Lykia was beautiful and tranquil, with a very fair price, in the heart of the Old Town. Not only that, the staff went above and beyond, we left a couple of items on accident and they promptly shipped them to our next hotel the same day! Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the pool in the hot summer midday sun. If we come back to Antalya we will stay here again no hesitation.

United KingdomUnfortunately the smoke detector in our room was very sensitive so anytime we sprayed any deodorant, it would go off and staff would quickly enter with a ladder and disconnect but it worried me anytime we sprayed any aerosol. Also it is a small hotel so you can hear the room above you or any noise in the hallway. This didn't bother us too much as we had earplugs but something to be aware of when booking a stay at a small boutique.
Staff are wonderful, so welcoming, chatty, friendly and helpful for anything you need. I couldnt praise them anymore just such lovely people. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique hotel. The breakfast in the morning is so lovely but a little more limited than some might expect. I'm not a fan of eggs but my husband enjoyed the cooked sausage and eggs. Also the location is perfect, just so close to bars and restaurants but we didn't find it too loud at night.
