This was a special gem to find in thee heart of the city. It's close to everything and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was so clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. If we visit Izmir again, we will most definitely stay here.

breakfast was bad. Cleaning services were terrible. of the 5 days we were there, only 2 days was the room cleaned. We also found some of our stuff missing but only when we left.

The Wi-Fi connection could improve. There is a nice rooftop that currently is not in use for customers, it could be fantastic to have some tables or hammocks.

At Marina Hotel every detail has been carefuly taken care of. It's clean, comfortable and the staff is very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Besides, my room had a small terrace.

Please be aware that the hotel is located on a street that is blocked off from vehicle traffic and a taxi can only drop you close by and not outside the hotel. Our driver couldn’t find the hotel for this reason and left us standing with luggage on the side of a busy road and pointing vaguely in the direction of the hotel. We also didn’t like that maintenance in the hotel room was extremely poor. All the tap-ware is rust stained and needs replacing. The overhead shower wasn’t even connected. The room was quite small leaving little space to open a suitcase. The pillows were Breakfast was a typical Turkish fare with little in the way of accommodating a western taste. Coffee was instant only. The menu didn’t change for our four day stay. It didn’t feel as though the kitchen was trying very hard to provide a better level of service given the reduced guest numbers. Much of the hot food was presented cold and very unappetising.

The staff were friendly and helpful when we were at reception or in the breakfast dining room. We appreciated an early check-in without charge and assistance in booking a PCR test in the hotel. It was a very short walk down to the waterfront and cafés and restaurants.

Almost nothing!

It was a cosy and comfortable place to stay. Everything was clean. Management and staff were so kind and helpful and we were thankful to meet them. Location was just perfect! Metro station, bus stations, shopping areas and the coast line are close enough that you can reach them by a few minutes of walk. The strict is busy during the day but thanks to the sealing the room was quiet. Just the internet connection quality was a bit poor but we found out that it was because of their internet provider (some infrastructural problems). I recommend the place to everyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful İzmir. For sure it will be our choice for our next trip to İzmir.

Firstly, i must mention that the young boss, the Lady that brought towels to us, were really helpful. BUT!!!! We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Only once they have cleaned the room. Completely unacceptable!!!! The sheets were changed again only once!!!! Without telling a valid excuse!!! The breakfast was so unpleasent, that we had only once!! The last shameful moment was that we had to go three times, in order to make our key worked, since the recepcionists were too lazy to extend the time till we got off!!

The bathroom did not drain. AC didn’t work well. not enough blankets. when we asked for extra they ignored us. breakfast is not good. The hotel is not as clean as it shows in the pictures

Rooms are very small, very outdated, towels very old, bathrooms are very tight, did not get housekeeping. It’s more of a hustle feel not a hotel for sure.

There were no English TV/satellite channels.

Perfect location just few steps to metro station. Elevator for high floors. Rooms were well furnished. Good internet connect in there. Open buffet breakfast was included with lots of variety.

The neighborhood is a little dark and janky but you never feel unsafe. The balcony fits exactly one body standing, and the place was booked solid so I couldn’t get an extra blanket, leaving me with one scratchy guy for the two nights.

Location was close to Kordon and bazaar. Gorgeous breakfast! Cool and clean accommodation.

The neighbours from other rooms (across and aside) were too loud and shouting at 3 am or so, I wish there was a stricter rule against that.

Breakfast was good. AC in room was excellent, it helped me cool the room quickly.

Location is very unsafe, not recommended if you are traveling alone or only females, especially adter 9 p.m., very dangerous neighborhood. Towels were not fresh and were not being changed everyday, unless we asked them to change. No cleaning the room unless you ask.
