It seems to be only the manager having to do all the work, checking guests in, working at the bar, making cocktails, taking orders, serving customers and as he is so busy, the service could have been quicker, but we could see he was really trying his best. The garden around the pool needs to be maintained, the grass was long and needed to be cut - it's a very upmarket hotel and a nice garden would be a bonus

Breakfast was wonderful, always fresh and the best olives in Turkey - especially with the view - a great way to start any day. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome, the view out of this world!!

One of the major challenges I encountered was the language barrier. Communicating effectively with the staff proved to be extremely difficult due to the lack of English speakers. The majority of the staff seemed to converse primarily in Turkish and Russian, making interactions strained and frustrating.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel and I'm thrilled to share my experience. The location was absolutely superb; nestled in a serene and tranquil environment, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It felt like a personalized breakfast tailored to my preferences, setting the tone for a wonderful day ahead. The pool area was nothing short of amazing. My room was a haven of cleanliness and comfort, offering a stunning sea view from the balcony. As a bonus, having access to Netflix during my downtime was a welcome touch, adding an extra layer of convenience and entertainment. For fellow travelers coming from the UK, here's a little tip: make sure to pack a charger converter for your devices. The hotel doesn't have them available for purchase, but luckily, I was able to borrow one from the accommodating staff. If you're planning to explore the area, I highly recommend renting a car. It's a convenient way to discover the surrounding attractions and make the most of your trip. Additionally, if you're a hiking enthusiast, don't forget to bring your equipment. The village offers a wonderful opportunity for a two-hour hike that's sure to captivate nature lovers. A small heads-up for those concerned about mosquitos: the town has its share of them. Be sure to pack mosquito repellent to safeguard yourself from any unwanted encounters. Summing it up, I can confidently say that my stay at this hotel was an experience to remember. The exceptional location, the attentive service, the pristine facilities, and the thoughtful touches like the sea view balcony and Netflix access all contributed to a truly remarkable stay. I'm already looking forward to returning to Turkey, and it's primarily because of the wonderful memories I've created at this remarkable hotel.

Everything was terrific and well done: The service, the location, the atmosphere, the decor, and the meal service. The only problem was that the central Air Conditioning system was weak; consequently, the room did not cool. When we stayed at the hotel, the ambient temperature was around 35 degrees Celcius outside.

There were no bikes to rent as they were all broken. Russians are the main target group and the owner didn't greet us once as we are not Russian. However, the staff treats everyone kindly. If the hotel is booked and the other guests are inconsiderate (loud music, talking and YouTube videos, blocking sunbeds, leaving dirty towels behind, taking selfies all the time) you might not have a great time.

The location was great for a relaxing time off from the everyday life stress, set in a quiet little town and with a beautiful view. The rooms are clean and the whole place is nicely decorated. The staff was really nice and attentive and the food was really good. We were lucky enough to have the hotel to ourselves after the second day which was calm and amazing.

The air con in room 202 is not working properly.We had dinner one night and the food was delicious my only criticism is they should offer starters and deserts and there was no bread or salad offered .In Turkey this is a must

West facing rooms gives you unique moments to enjoy a jacuzzi while admiring the sunset over the sea. Quiet place, next to the pine wood where the path towards Korsan koyu and Gelidonia lighthouse commences. Overall, a place you'll whish to return.

The price is very high even though it was not the season. Food options in the restaurant was not satisfying. And the area is a bit hard to find good options of food, activities and other services.

It’s calm, relaxing and quiet peaceful place. The faculties/staff are open to help and very friendly. The view is breathtaking.

Facilities are flawless and remarkable. The very simple fact that after we left this place and checked in to the next one - we’ve immediately checked out and came back - this simple fact tells everything about it.

The reason I confirmed this hotel, apart from the amazing view and location, is because I asked them if they had gluten-free food as I am a celiac patient. They said yes, and I ended up there. I got very surprised because, from the first day, they confirmed there was nothing Gluten-Free at the hotel, which contradicted their answer in the beginning. Moreover, they did not even try to find an alternative during the following days, and on the contrary, what they did was just remove my part of the breakfast containing gluten. I was very disappointed as the "discussion" about my diet became an everyday conversation with no solution from their side. It is worth it to say that I stayed one week there. In the end, being a frequent traveler, I did not like this part of the experience. Other hotels always tried to find a solution, and people cared about it, but I felt it was nothing but an issue at Melanippe. On the other hand, the most important lamp on the balcony was not working. I said a couple of times to the people accountable for cleaning, and their answer was: "It cannot be repaired". Client service completely changes the experience in any place/situation. Unfortunately, here I did not feel that was a priority (apart from one person called Apu, who was very diligent and kind from the beginning).

The hotel location is just fantastic for travelers looking for a peaceful and restful vacation. Literally, nothing is happening around, apart from the sound of nature and the wonderful sea view. The room and the hotel amenities were perfectly matching the surroundings. Every place in the hotel has an amazing view, and the "social" spaces are comfortable and very well decorated. Very nice place to go and disconnect from the hectic cities.

Amazing Hotel to relax, away from all the tourism zones. The staff is fantastic and takes care of any need. The rooms are comfortable and super relaxing. The infinity pool with a great view was the best. The owner is around and takes personally care of the guest.

Some basic facilities like cloth iron were not there, however the staff offered to iron our clothes voluntarily which was really pleasing. The location is not easy to reach for beginner and intermediate drivers who are not used to drive in mountains.

The simplicity of the village and the amazing sunset view with luxurious place made our experience magical. The staff are very friendly, smiling and willing to help. It is literally RELAXING hotel with positive vibes.
