Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaPedestrian walk restoration just in front of lobby.. I was surprised that they only provided 1 small wood for us to pass it.. Just imagine bringing you big luggages to enter the hotel lobby is difficult though.. The lighting in the room is not enough for working at night... Breakfast was good, but suggest to change the variation of the menu. .. I stayed there for 9 days.. And the menu exactly the same everyday...
Location of course!!!!! Of course..the front desk man staff allowed us to get early checking in early morning easily, and ..the restaurant man staff (who always welcome us nicely with big smile during my 9 day stays ) there in front of the elevator everyday..).. Very friendly and helpful! I made separated reservations during nya 9 day stays....as I am all accord plus member (as surprisingly at booking.com, the rate was lower than all accords plus apps, for my additional one last day stay for two room..so I choosed to reserved at booking.com...) They were hellfull.. Of course the two bell boy old guys helping us with the taxi and luggage very nice... The room and bed is comfy, the bathroom is clean..

FinlandBreakfast quality and variety was not what we expected from a five star hotel. All the juices were warm and the coffee was not good. We ended up getting our coffee from elsewhere. Walls are thin and you can hear neighbours and the outside noise quite easily.
Reception staff were excellent and the room was big. Air-conditioning worked well. Beds were comfortable enough.

United KingdomOnce we switch off the AC, we couldn't swith it on again except after contacting the technician. This happened many times. The water boiler wasn't really clean! The breakfast price is a bit expensive!
