Apart from the restaurant staff the rest weren’t very friendly, assuming because I’m British. Everyone seemed to get a hello and good morning, I couldn’t even get eye contact. Felt very uncomfortable, especially after undergoing surgery. Would not recommend to British. Also it’s not a 5 star, it’s a 4 star at best. Very outdated and of poor standard.

The heater in the room was erratic and the temperature escalated until we had to turn it off.

The view and the staff's near perfect level of maintaining cautious distance while being attentive to our needs.

Room --> I wasn't happy with central air conditioning. when off, room was cold. when on, room was too hot. it was not possible to arrange so I had to turn it off in the night to wake up to a cold room. the lid for the drain in the bathtub was not coming off with the handle. I noticed this after I started taking shower and had to use my nails to let the water go down the drain. the kettle to make tea was not working, so a cup of tee before going to sleep was not possible. However, a colleague of mine stayed in another room and told me he had different air conditioning tool in his room and didn't have the problems I had.

There is nothing that needs to be reported and did not like. The facilities were all wonderful and the location of the place is good.

The location was wonderful, and the room was comfortable. The facilities were all as promised. The staff was very cooperative and I was taken good care of during my stay at the facility. The food was also good.

I’ve picked the superior king with view! The Turk Telekom building completely blocked the view. The hotel called me a taxi to the airport. He took me from the longest way that I ended up paying %50 more. For some reason the breakfast was not included which was standart with my other entire hotel stays for this long trip. I won’t stay in the hotel again!

Unfortunately the hotel is really old, they really have to renovate the rooms. The bath is really old and the carpet especially. The rooms should be sound proof because we could hear everyone walking past our room or even the neighbours when they opened and closed the door.

Location is perfect. You can reach everything. The staff is always sooooo kind, I love that. It was our second stay here. I really like the hotel.

The location is amazing as it is right next to the sea front. Multiple restaurants and bars nearby while the immediate area is calm and quiet. The price was perfect.

We booked at the Mövenpick - Izmir because it had a swimming pool, however Booking.com failed to mention that it was under construction. We could have a better deal on hotels without a swimming pool

The property was a bit old. Apparently, there was a wooden floor underneath the carpet and I could hear that creaking sound every time I stepped on the floor. While sleeping I could hear the same creaking sound coming from above. It made me uncomfortable at 2 a.m. Another thing was a light in the bathroom. It burned out and no one was about to replace it. Of course, it was not a big deal but still it was not an advantage for Mövenpick

The service in the restaurant was amazing. Nice and attentive waiters. The food was awesome. Housekeeping was good as well. Rooms were clean. A/c worked well (my staying was when the temperature was the highest at the season)

Smoke smell in a bathroom

The room was big and comfortable, with free water and all needed facilities. BAthroom was clean but sometimes there was a smell of smoke from another room probably. Breakfast was great and full of different variations of food. The swimming pool and gym were very clean and nice

The pool was my main reason for booking and unfortunately it was really cold, given I was swimming in the sea up until a few weeks ago I’m not adverse to cold water but an indoor pool such as this should be warmer. What looked like a hot tub in the photos is in fact a strange ‘child pool’ but that’s my own fault for assuming, I’d just rather no one else made the same mistake.

The staff were excellent, impeccable service, super friendly and cannot fault them at all. My room was huge, clean, comfortable, quiet (triple glazed windows) on a main road with no traffic noise! The card and gift were a lovely touch and the toiletries were nice and well utilised.
