Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere is nothing to report here as we had a wonderful time!
The hosts (Ahmet and his brother) were kind and helpful, and very accommodating to our needs e.g. our vegan diet The location is beautifully situated, with a lovely view. Additionally, Murat was at the bus station to ensure we got our bus to the next destination. They went the extra mile!

FranceNothing specifically for us, we loved the whole trip.
The host Murat and his 2 daughters and sons are exceptional! They make you feel like home. You can eat your breakfast in the garden on good weather days. It’s very near to Mount Nemrut. They provide car service to anywhere you wish with very fair price. My son did not want to leave :) this is a local authentic B&B , not to expect a hotel! Hope we can come back one day!

It’s a real place, Murat and his family were extremely friendly and quite influential at Mt Nemrut. They helped us a lot and it has been a pleasure to help them to restart after such a hard year

United KingdomWonderful stay with a wonderful host. So much to see in the area beyond Nemrut, which is an incredible site that I wish for everyone to experience at least once in a lifetime in the way that we did. Unforgettable. Murat made it really special with a fantastic itinerary and he’s a true chef. Obviously, these are mountain villages in the middle of the country so you should be ready for things to be rustic, but it was one of the most magical experiences ever. Thank you Murat for having us ❣️

United KingdomAs said, this is quite basic, but this is reflected in the very fair price.
Room was basic but comfortable, as you would expect most of the way up the mountain. The location was fantastic - we were so close to the Nemrut summit that we went up at sunset and then again the following morning. Murat, who owns the place, was a good host and breakfast and dinner were both also provided for a small cost (including vegetarian).

United KingdomLocated in the most beautiful of environments, waking up to the mountains outside, the cherry blossoms and powder blue sky was a real treat. We were treated extremely well by the hosts. Murat provided our transfer from the airport and on to our next accommodation, organised for us to be driven to and guided up Mount Nemrut (this was incredibly helpful) and back to the accommodation. Our host kindly offered us dinner at the accommodation and we took up this offer. The food was fresh, delicious and filling and all of the services offered represented good value for money. The family were most considerate of our wellbeing, for example brewing us a special mint and lemon tea and giving us oranges to help us recover from a recent bout of illness.

NetherlandsWe were contacted a few times by teh hotel before we arrived, giving advice about how to find the place (easy) and about the weather conditions up on the mountain. Ahmet, the owner's son was a great host and he got his friend Ahmet to guide us up to the mountain in the snow, which we would not have managed without him. They made a tasty dinner of chicken and salad in the evening and rovided us with a hearty breakfast in the morning.

IndiaWe liked everything about this trip
The breakfast was outstanding, and the location was truly fantastic. Following our early morning visit to Mt. Nemrut Dagi, we found solace in the garden, basking in the warm sun while indulging in a delightful breakfast and endless cups of tea. We couldn't resist plucking and enjoying the fresh apples and figs from the garden trees, adding to the heavenly relaxation of the moment. I couldn't help but ponder why I hadn't reserved a few more days to savor this tranquil paradise. Murad, our gracious host, was an absolute gem. He not only provided airport pickup and drop-off but also offered us an affordable tour of Mt. Nemrut Dagi. Despite the unfortunate earthquake that ravaged 35 houses in the village of Karadut, the local residents were exceptionally welcoming and warm. Murad himself had lost his own home in the earthquake, making his hospitality even more commendable.
