Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GreeceThe bed sheets and towels had stains on them. I requested new ones however the ones they gave me was also stained. When i told the receptionist they told me that it is not dirty (they smell clean etc) and that it is just color that cannot come off from the washing machine. They do their own laundry and do not dry clean. We paid 110€ for 4 nights so honestly i did not have big expectations but i expected clean sheets/towels
At the heart of Sultanahmed only 10 minutes walking to the tram station and the main attractions! The night shift receptionist was so kind and ready to help. Everyone was polite

PakistanMehmet is an absolute gem of a person. He went all the way to arrange taxi/transfer back to Airport which is nowadays in Istanbul is very prone to spam. Tram station is very close by and especially the Sultanahmet square is only 8 - 10 min walk. provide. If I visit Istanbul again, I will only stay in Nos Hotel.

CanadaNone that much, but had to walk a hill, hard walk when you have a huge heavy luggage lol- like me. So travel light, every place in Istanbul is expected to have steep streets!
Mehmet was great! He helped me walking my luggage to the main street. Everyone was very friendly. Servet was extremely polite and helpful, friendly. The girl who made the breakfast for me and we had a chat, was super nice! They all made me feel at home.

Everything was very good, the staff was helping all the time and tried their best to solve any troubles we had :) The hotel itself was quite good: it’s located in 5 minutes from Hagia Sophia (but keep in mind that you have to go up a hill), but the street is so quiet and nothing disturbs you (except seagulls but that’s common for Istanbul 😁). The breakfasts consisted of bread, olives, eggs, honey, strawberry jam, chocolate paste, butter, some kind of cheese. It was very good. The room was not very big, but it had everything you need. Thanks a lot for helping us with everything, it was a very good trip. There was no trouble to check in even at 2am, so it helped so much.

AustraliaBreakfast started quite late for us (8:30 -9) - so unfortunately we were unable to have our breakfast twice. But otherwise all good. Would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Nos Hotel. The staff were kind and very helpful. We had a king sized bed which was very comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated and clean. Owner helped us with information about the tram and gave us a tram card which was very kind.

AzerbaijanAs I chose the hotel nearby Sultanahmet on purpose, Mosque chants were a bit loud and early in the morning it was heard.Maybe it was due to religious holiday at that time.But in general the hotel area was quiet and safe.
The location is 5-6 mins away from Blue Mosque(Sultanahmet Camii). Breakfast was good enough,and bathroom (facilities) was excellent.
