It was clean, with excellent service in where we had breakfast. The staff was really friendly, helpful and provided honest infos! The receptionists and the staff in general made us feel well taken care of. Breakfast was good and service was attentive and efficient. The location was great, especially for first time in Istanbul. The room was spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities. Great value for money!

The room was small but had adequate space- the bathroom however, was miniscule, with the smallest handbasin I have ever seen. The shower cubicle was very small, likewise, and a bigger/taller person than I would struggle to take a shower without bumping into the walls.

Great location on the edge of Sultanahmet overlooking the Marmara Sea- which means great sea views from the rooms and the breakfast terrace, not just a sliver of sea visible in the distance. Breakfast on the terrace was simple but tasty and plentiful, with the glorious view providing adequate compensation for any lack of variety. We were told breakfast is served at 8.30 am, felt this was a bit too late- but when we went to breakfast at 8 am, it was ready for us! The two members of staff at reception- Iyed and Hassan, were both very friendly and helpful, with Iyed's command over various languages, including English and French proving to be a great asset.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Seahouse Suites. It's in a great location in Sultanahmet. The room was huge and a big bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom with a decent size walk in shower. Had a balcony with a lovely sea view. Breakfast options were quite limited but more than enough to start day. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The staff were great, Iyed and Hassan and the lovely lady who served breakfast and cleaned the room. The location is brilliant as it has sea views and is only a short walk up to the Blue Mosque. Shower was good and air conditioning was great.

Everything was great.

We stayed 2 days in the hotel and greatly enjoyed our staying there. We arrived early in the morning and the guys at the reception allowed to leave our luggage before check-in. The room was quite big and clean. There was a very comfortable bed and the sofa. The reception guys were very helpful and were available all the time via whatsapp. The hotel itself is located very close to main city sites. The balcony with the sea view was a perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea. We were a little bit concerned about the noise from the street but it was very quite. In the morning there was a common but sufficient breakfast: eggs, sausage, bread, cheese, fruit and vegetables, tea, coffee. We are very thankful to the guys for their service and hospitality and would be happy to come back!

Great location and a fabulous view over the sea. A little confusing if you came by car or maybe i just have a dumb GPS. There are parking lots close enough. Really nice and helpful staff. The boys at the reception are very nice and chatty without pushing you like in other hotels to buy trips or other stuff. They just are helpful and happy to have a conversation with guests. And we found out that i have a marching jacket with one of them :). The lady at the breakfast terrace noticed that my wife was not happy with her boiled egg and immediately gave her some scrambled eggs. Room was spotless and cleaned every day. Despite the cold weather, the A/C unit could make your room a sauna in minutes. Oh... did I mention the view?

The room was comfortable for my mom and I. There is an absolutely beautiful view with lots of ships and boats passing by. Since it was during the winter, quite cold outside but the room was always very toasty, no need for heater. The staff were very helpful and always making sure to have the room clean, and inform us about changing of linen and towels. A special thank you to Eyad and Mohamed for the great breakfasts and conversations! They were very helpful with information on getting around Istanbul and different sight seeing areas! Eyad and Mohamed are doing a great job of making Seahouse Suites a comfortable and friendly family environment!

The property is a tad cramped with narrow staircase and does not have a lift but that is expected of such an old property. More than made up by the positives in my view!

Location and the staff are the best attributes of this property. Iyed and Dursun were extremely helpful and were always thoughtful about the needs of my family. They were really helpful in pointing out what we needed, be it transport, food or pharmacy. Really felt like they were more friends and not just hotel staff by the end of our stay. Well done Iyed and Dursun. The property had good wifi and also good runnning hot water. They had breakfast in the morning which was simple but sufficient. Property location is excellent. It was within 5-10 mins walk of Blu Mosque, Hagia Sophia and its adjacent tram station, giving you greater access to other parts of Istanbul!

The showers need to be repaired - taps are working in a rather weird way and take time to understand to be used properly, and the overall condition of the bathroom could be spruced up.
