The staff were rude and couldn't communicate properly in English. They double-charged my credit card, and I couldn't fix it there. Room service was the worst possible. I had to call them many times to get a towel.

Not great having only one lift, which on this visit was not working on several occasions. A bit annoying that on one night the restaurant on the top floor was being used for a business meeting, however the room service they provided instead was wonderful.

I'd been there a few days before, another very nice room, the same extremely kind staff. Excellent location and always a pleasure looking out over the beautiful harbour and watching the ferries disgorging their passengers beneath the windows.

I had no Wi-Fi for three days, moved rooms and only had patchy Wi-Fi. As an English tourist travelling for dental work I spent most of my time in the room. I was bored out of my mind as I could watch nothing then very little on my devices . I also felt very detached as I could not regularly contact friends and family. Only one person on the entire staff spoke a little English (I get that I am in Turkey but hospitality demands some grasp of languages) the bathroom was really grotty and often smelled of sewage. The restaurant food was really basic omelette, pizza, pasta and the breakfast was really poor. The housekeeping staff every day would deliberately leave one or two items from the initial “clean” (wash cloth , floor towel, coffee or tea etc ) so they could knock on the door later despite the do not disturb sign to pressure you into giving a tip ( I tipped everyone that I actively met , room service and the housekeeping staff it if I was out they would employ this trick!!!! The air conditioner was completely ineffective for the size of the room . I asked several times for it to be looked at and or for a fan … neither happened. The temperature in my room after around 10.30 am was around 85 to 90 degrees which made me miserable

The hotel is far from market, elevator was very slow, breakfast buffet was bad, the bed is uncomfortable and has a wooden frame which is longer than the mattress which we banged our feet on many times, poor lighting in the room where you couldn’t see anything even in the bathroom. not a good choice 😔

There was a problem with air conditioning that the room was really cold. Every time we called reception to open the heating system. Bathroom is old and I cannot get the clean feeling. The single room has no view. there is a wall in front of window.

They gave me the wrong room, I am quite disabled and needed a walk in shower, they gave me a bathtub and a bed that was on the low side which made it difficult, i did not get a shower all the time i was there and left early.

The bed was very low in our room, and the bedframe could be a potential trip hazard if you're not paying attention especially when the room is dark at night.

The location in the central city is excellent which was very walkable to various locations which included restaurants, ferry, and shopping. There is also a trail outside the hotel where you can walk next to the sea. The staff was very professional and accommodated a few of our requests.
