Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The view from the roof trace is amazing - best in Kaleici - you have perfect view on sunset behind the mountains. Also the garden is very nice. We also liked the the hotel is close to the city center, Antalya mall and other key places. Very cozy place.

RussiaZero soundproofing, and a super noisy neighborhood. It will be a nightmare for sensitive sleepers, don’t even dream of having a good night rest here or falling asleep before midnight - there’s loud music right outside your window until late night, feels like the glass is absent in your window, even ear plugs are useless. Narrow curtain is unable to cover the bright light from the outside lamps, it’s lacking 20cm each side. Given that I’m not a light sleeper, I was struggling to sleep. Loud noises are coming both from outside and the corridor. Really ruined the experience for me. Oh, and also smelly bathroom.
Very nice boutique hotel, loved the decor and the location, view from the window and friendly staff, but..

RussiaThe hotel is a bit old. Some equipment needs to be replaced. But in general for this affordable price everything is ok. And all the problems were solved immediately by the stuff. No parking for guests.
It was very clean. Stuff is very hospitable and helpful. Nice terrace. Breakfast included which was enough for us. Not a huge variety of dishes but we were full. The location is very good, close to restaurants and bars, little authentic shops, cozy historic streets.

United KingdomTwo killer features: 1) We were on the 3rd floor and there is no lift - lots of stairs to climb 2) Very nearby is a night club which blasts out incredibly loud beat music in the evening. We stayed two nights: the first it stopped at 12:30 and the second at 01:00. Why should I be stopped from sleeping until the early hours ?
Four good features: 1) Location - in the heart of the old city 2) Staff - very friendly and helpful 3) Courtyard - delightful place to chill out or eat breakfast 4) Decor - a bit quirky, with old Turkish ornaments

PolandTerrible smell from the drains in the bathroom, after entering the room a terrible stench hits your face. Unfortunately, even turning on the fan all night does not help... We had a room on the 3rd floor, for us it was a plus, but I didn't notice or hear anything about the elevator, people who have problems with walking or strollers will have a very hard and long climb. Not even 1 glass in the room, it would be nice if at least a cup for water was offered. The reception refused to issue a second key to a double room... if you are traveling with someone, you are tied to each other by phone to get back to the room.
Great location, 2 minutes from the high street of the old town, just around the corner from the tram to the beach. The view from the balcony of the sea and mountains is breathtaking. Comfortable bed, different breakfast every day, very nice ladies serving breakfast

United KingdomBreakfast very basic and virtually the same every day. Rooms are cramped and lacking facilities. Little hanging or storage space. Even some hooks would be useful. Pretty hard beds, OK for me, but not my wife. Bathroom v cramped on our alternative room. Not enough room to stand in front of the sink as it's almost touching the shower cubicle. Lighting is dreadful. Suite had a light in the passage and one in the bathroom, both on same circuit. One was on, the other off. V dismal in the bathroom. All bedroom lights on one circuit, all on or all off. The smoke detector had been covered with cling film?
Location is great in the upper part of the old town. Staff friendly and helpful. Had to move from our small suite due to thunderstorm and heavy rain for 2 days leaking thru the roof and shorting the lights out, seeping thru the veranda window creating a large puddle. Couldn't easily open the sliding window onto the veranda, and v difficult to lock. One TV appears to only have Local channels. The other only had 1 channel as wrong remote, I think. Shown several alternative rooms, 2 of which also had leaking windows. Settled on second floor room, much smaller but OK, see comments re bathroom below.

CroatiaThere is only one electrical outlet in the room which is in the middle of the headrest on the bed. If you have 2 phones or need to charge anything else you're out of luck. The room itself is dirty..the linen is clean but everything else is dirty or in bad condition. If you just look under the sheets you can see hair. And everything is in shabby condition. Our room had a "sea view" so maybe on the other side of the hallway is different, but the noise in the room when you want to go to sleep.. oh you have never experienced this kind of noise. Across the room there is a restaurant that has live music every night from around 10pm until 2am and it is UNBEARABLE!! Literally it is so loud that even with the windows shut you feel they are having a concert in the hallway of the hotel. If you manage to fall asleep somehow, at 5am the mosque starts playing a prayer which on its own wouldn't be a problem, but the speakers are so loud and close to the hotel and, in combination with the restaurant music, it kept us awake every night. I simply would avoid staying in this hotel and look for a quieter location
Staff was friendly. They made us sandwiches for our tours at 5am. The location is really good. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is average at best but it seems to be a pattern in Antalya. You get 2 small bottles of water every day which is a nice touch.

United Arab EmiratesFirst of all, the check-in process was horrible as we were given a room with a strong smell of Naphthalene and broken-not working AC, when we asked the to change the room because it is impossible to any human being to stay in a room with such condition, the hotel refused and said that this is the only one available , but we could pay extra to be upgraded to a deluxe room for tow nights only then we go back to the naphthalene chamber. While any self-respecting hotel could upgrade us for free because it is their fault, anyway, things went worse ,and to our surprise, the hotel had another standard room free , and the guy tells us : " you can stay in this one for one night only then you go back to the hot smelly room!!!!! At the end after a long fight, we stayed in the other standard room for the rest of the booking. This hotel hasn't seen a Maintenance team since ages , furniture in rooms is almost non existent, fixtures in bathrooms are all broken, no hangers in bathroom, mold and dirt in shower,(pictures attached) no cupboard in bedroom, very dirty old AC which it hasn't been mentained and cleaned for ages. I am surprised how this hotel is a three star one while it is barely a hotel!!!! If botique means broken, dirty and very badly mentained and managed, then yes, it is a very botique hotel!!!
The only good thing in this establishment is the location, other than that ,it is very poorly managed and mentained and lacks the basics to be called a hotel.
