How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

In my previous review, I mentioned that our room was very noisy. However, this time, we had a quiet room.
It was the second time we stayed at this hotel. - Breakfast and the restaurant with a view at the top of the building. - Cleanliness of the room and the building.

We had a felling that we are sleeping in a dormitory. All the doors were making a lot of noise when closing. A thing they can improve. There was no orange fresh on breakfast. In Turkey oranges are cheap and they have plenty. Breakfast was very poor on fruits and pancakes were not enough for so many guests. When you ask they are bringing more from the kitchen but always cold :(
The staff was very responsive and helpful. The parking is spacious.

The only aspect that I found less enjoyable was the unpredictable and frequent fluctuation between hot and extremely cold water temperatures in the shower.
I enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the delicious food, and the convenient location of the hotel. I especially appreciated the underground parking, which allowed us to park our car before check-in and leave it there after check-out.

The shower was a bit temperamental often going ice cold mid shower. Other than that everything was fine.
Great location and extremely helpful staff. Shout out to Selim who went out of his way to make this just fine. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Good variety and the omelette was banging!!!

Very nice hotel (hard to say whether it either newly built or newly renovated). Our was a standard room, not very big but comfortable, clean, comfy bed. Breakfast was fabulous, staff friendly and helpful. The location is excelent, 10 minutes walk to Osmanbey metro station and you can be in Taksim Square or Kabatas terminal in almost no time. There are numerous shops and restaurnts nearby.

parking place availability is definitely a plus - it's free, located at the basement of the hotel. Veryy good breakfast. Osmanbay metro station - M2 at a short walking distance (less taht 10 minutes away)

Reception staff is polite but could have been more helpful (information, getting around advices) - definitely not a deal breaker.
A very good hotel to explore Istanbul. Lots of connections to all important landmarks. Close to buses and M2 Metro, Osmanbey station (10 minutes walking). Nice and safe surroundings. Shops, restaurants cafes and mini markets nearby. Very good breakfast with lots of varieties (incl. fresh omelet, olive, cheese, sweets bar, fruits etc. and even a self service honeycomb). WIFI works throughout the hotel and room. Rooms are clean and spacious, kettle in the room for tea or coffee. Every day we were provided with free bottled water. Spa and parking available (we didn't use them but we saw decent prices on massages and hammam). We will definitely return. *Good connection to Istanbul Airport (2 stops from Osmanbey to Gayrettepe and then easy transfer with M11 from Arnavutköy Hastane to Istanbul Airport)

- Sometimes it was a bit loud in the morning in the hallways - on my first night I woke up early - Location is okay - it is around 10 minutes walk from the metro station but it does feel like you are a bit too far away from the sights
- Very friendly staff that was always ready help - Clean rooms - Good breakfast with lots of choices - Spa area
