How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no loopy. Just small reception, there is parking in the basement but it is to tight and need to be carful when go in and out the parking area. It is far away from Taksim
The staff were very friendly the hotel is very clean. Breakfast was amazing there is good variety of food. They respond to any query quickly.

loby is very small and basic. prices of food and drinks in restaurant are very high. Hotel is too far from metro. Nothing attractive around hotel. Noisy traffic around hotel.

This is not a negative but worth noting that these kind of hotels are ideal for short days as you will get bored over time.
Very lovely small and expectionally clean hotel situated in a nice area full of restaurants, takeaway venues and ATMS by your doorstep. Staff are friendly and accomodating, offering to take your luggage up to the your room and happy to answer any of your queries. The hotel has a few facilites such as a small Gym, Spa room which are worth trying. The breakfast buffet inside the restaurant on the top floor was delicious and with such variety! The restaurant faces such stunning scenery of Istanbul; you can see Galata Tower and a lot more from the hotel!! You are 10 minutes walking distance from Osmanbey Metro Station, making it accessible to visit some of the attractions further into Istanbul and commuting there does not take long at all. Overall, I was pleased with my visit despite it being a short stay. Thank you to all the staff and service received!

In my previous review, I mentioned that our room was very noisy. However, this time, we had a quiet room.

We had a felling that we are sleeping in a dormitory. All the doors were making a lot of noise when closing. A thing they can improve. There was no orange fresh on breakfast. In Turkey oranges are cheap and they have plenty. Breakfast was very poor on fruits and pancakes were not enough for so many guests. When you ask they are bringing more from the kitchen but always cold :(
The staff was very responsive and helpful. The parking is spacious.

The only aspect that I found less enjoyable was the unpredictable and frequent fluctuation between hot and extremely cold water temperatures in the shower.
I enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the delicious food, and the convenient location of the hotel. I especially appreciated the underground parking, which allowed us to park our car before check-in and leave it there after check-out.

The shower was a bit temperamental often going ice cold mid shower. Other than that everything was fine.
Great location and extremely helpful staff. Shout out to Selim who went out of his way to make this just fine. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Good variety and the omelette was banging!!!

Very nice hotel (hard to say whether it either newly built or newly renovated). Our was a standard room, not very big but comfortable, clean, comfy bed. Breakfast was fabulous, staff friendly and helpful. The location is excelent, 10 minutes walk to Osmanbey metro station and you can be in Taksim Square or Kabatas terminal in almost no time. There are numerous shops and restaurnts nearby.
