Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaBed was not as comfortable as I expected.
The pool, the sauna and the massages were very good. The view from the room was very good too, overseeing Tekirdag and the sea.

BulgariaWe liked everything. But the best were all people working in the hotel. Everybody is polite and helpful. Many thanks, especially to the manager Gulbahar Kesergir, to Melike Merig, to Gamze, to Ogulgam ( sorry for possible mistakes in the names). Hope to see all of them in the summer 😊

MexicoThe AC did not work. According to the staff the whole building must be either in heating or in cooling mode. We needed to sleep with the window open and given that the hotel is in front of the highway on a steep incline, you hear tractor trucks breaking using their engines all night.

BulgariaApart from the pleasant stay at the hotel, I will remember my visit with the difficult approach to the hotel. It's probably my fault somewhere along the way. All the rest was OK!

United KingdomI found it strange that the receptionists didn't know the price for the breakfast buffet, and the breakfast waiter didn't either.
The room had a lovely view and a balcony. Comfortable bed and quality amenities. The gym and indoor swimming pool looked good. The staff were professional and attentive. Good value for money.

United KingdomBreakfast and staying on floor 2
Just a little preamble - We travel extensively - about 6 months of the year - and a lot of our accommodation reservations are done through Booking.com. We book 2 types of accommodation: 1. this is an overnight stop - we need very quiet and clean and convenient. 2. This is an important stop - we are here for something special - a big city, a few days at the beach, a birthday - and we will splurge a little for a great view and a great hotel, BUT quiet rooms are still super important to us. We are also mindful that 5 star in Paris is possibly not the same as 5 star in Columbia or Kenya. We are also mindful that the world, and especially the tourism industry has been through a most dreadful 2 years so lets cut people a little slack if the wallpaper should have been changed etc. So, Ramada Wyndham by Tekirdag .....this was Type 1 - an overnight stop before our flight from Istanbul after our 3 weeks in Turkey. I want to use the word "complacent". We have several Turkish friends who say this hotel is "the best" hotel in Tekirdag, well maybe it was but its very easy to rest on your laurels. So lets break this down. We took the time to contact the hotel a couple of times prior to arrival to check we could get a quiet room - we were allocated a wonderful room - clean, spacious BUT on floor 2, and at 7am the sound track of our stay in Tekirdag was the tables being dragged to set up breakfast on the floor below us!!! We would have happily paid more to be on a higher floor - so guys - don't stay on floor 2. The front desk staff were great. Breakfast was disappointing - there were no coffee cups set out and the ones we were finally given could have been cleaner. Cold food in the hot dish containers. There are huge bowls of jams and honey and the spoon sticks out about an inch - please just put your preserves into small dishes. In fact it's the restaurants for lunch and breakfast that is letting this hotel down - easily fixed

BulgariaThe location of the hotel. It is outside of the city and you need a car in order to go to the city center.
I am very satisfied with my visit at Ramada by Wyndham Tekirdağ. The breakfast was very delicious and diverse every morning. The staff is friendly and smiley. The receptionists speak English and they even recommended some nice places to visit during our stay in Tekirdağ. The hotel is outside the city - night view is marvelous.

Switzerlandthe only 1 duvet for 2 person is too small. As a 5* hotel, there should be a shower cap for woman and a shower for body, not only a rain-shower .

BulgariaThe bathroom was pretty much clean, but there was some hair in the shower area. Also there was a lot of shouting and doors slamming, caused by some children, I had to come down and talk with their teacher, I know it's out of your hands and I am with you, but this is a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 hotel, not a kindergarten, I would suggest you that you need security guard on the site to prevent that from happening, because you have some people, coming from far and all they need is some good ol' sleep at that moment.
The massage staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding as expected, very very friendly staff! Good job!

United KingdomWe had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant Panora, we waited for over 20 minutes for 4 simple drinks. We could see the restaurant staff sitting in the other hotel restaurant, drinking water, and snacking, chatting. I had to go to the other restaurant and ask for our drinks on 2 occasions. One of the waiters got up and bought our drinks. When the food arrived, it was just warm. My pizza was burnt and hard. I asked to see the manager. Again, asking twice, he arrived. I told him about our experience and how it was not acceptable to have staff who acted like 1st day staff, in a 5 star hotel, to have sight of the staff sitting down, no staff in on the restaurant floor is not what we expect. The standard of food for a 5 star hotel was shocking and poor quality. They brought 2 cheese cakes we ordered to our table, which were of cheap poor quality. I complained to the manager again and said I would talk to the day managers. This I did. The day manager took notes and went to see a senior manager and met up with me again and said they had taken on board my concerns and were very apologetic. He offered us a free meal in the restaurant as a way of an apology. I turned down this offer due to the standard of food not being good. We did accept a breakfast each to be fair. The bedroom walls are very thin and you can hear the other rooms TVs and hear their voices at times. The indoor pool in the SPA area has black mould spots on the edge and middle of the pool ceiling. The bed quilt we had was old. It was breaking up. Won't be going back. Not value for money at all
The hotel was mainly clean and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The day staff and management are good. The pool spa area is good. Buffet breakfast is good with something for everyone. The city is not a tourist area. The Thursday local market is fantastic. Takes over the city centre to near the sea front.
