Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe a la carte restaurant that they have is really not up to the standards of a five star hotel. We were very disappointed by the food there and also the fact that the staff forgot our orders multiple times. Regarding the room, we had to call reception every single day in order to ask them to make our room, as it was never done when we came back from our day at 6 pm. This to us is not acceptable from a 5 star hotel.
The hotel itself is fabulous. It’s very modern and the amenities were very comfortable. The Italian restaurant they have is very good ( I’m Italian so I would know). The beach is very comfortable.

United KingdomI think, one night in this hotel doesn't worth 800 euros. Also, i strongly recommend to clean the bottom of the sea near by the beach because in 10-20 meters from the beach front are lot of pins and iron spikes at the bottom. And as its not that deep there, someone can easily injure himself. (especially children). Thus, for 5-star hotel, the sea should not be just clean, but firstly, should be safe to swim.
Spacious, clean, peaceful, beautiful.

GermanyAlthough breakfast was included, any extras (drinks, restaurants, paid SPA services such as massages, etc.) were way overpriced, which is mainly the reason why this hotel did not get a score of 10 from us. Although we had some drinks during our stay, we preferred not to eat at one of the hotel's own restaurants (although they looked really nice), but rather go outside. I believe this was the case for most guests. We would have gladly eaten some of the meals at the hotel if the prices were more reasonable, so the hotel seems to be missing the chance of extra revenue from guests by making extras unnecessarily pricy. Some staff members seemed to be too insecure and inexperienced, which caused us to repeat our orders from time to time to the more experienced staff, but all were very nice and tried hard to satisfy guests.
Great location with a modern architecture; comfortable, luxurious and clean rooms with a very nice sea view that you can enjoy directly from your own balcony. The beach area is small but we had no trouble finding sunbeds and the staff was very friendly. The beach and the sea are very clean with a nice white sand. The sea has a refreshing cool temperature, does not get deep quickly so very suitable for small children, although it can get quite windy and the sea a bit rough. Staff is very friendly and tries hard to satisfy guests. Cesme city center is only a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute car / taxi ride. There are lots of activities and places to visit in the Cesme Peninsula.

GermanyThe food in the restaurant was awful and completely overpriced. There are many excellent restaurants in and around Cesme which we would normally go in covid free times. However as they tend to get very busy we decided to stay in the hotel. There are 3 restaurants with great outside seating by the sea. The menue was already terrible and the food was a clumsy try of Mediterranean Asian fusion. The food was so bad that we complained right there and then, something we usually never do. Other guests complained as well and the hotel will certainly lose guests if they don't change their kitchen. Despite the really poor quality prices are around 60pct higher as compared to fancy cesme restaurants
The hotel meets all requirements on a 5 star facility. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The location is as good as it gets in Cesme. There is a small stripp of artificial sand beach. Shallow waters, easy to enter the sea for children: stunning views over the Aegean sea. Tasteful pools, beach bar and a green area with sun beds and hammocks. Covid protocol was met by hotel staff. Guests often didn't care too much

BahrainThe hotel needs a little bit more effort to make it a top hotel. For example the room’s technology where lighting is concerned is a bit aggravating. The bathroom lights come on after being switched off. Usually I like to turn light off and on with out consulting an operations manual. The room has no dresser, one has to use the bathroom vanity for that. The vanity has just one sink. Usually in luxury hotels there are two. And the bathroom has no magnifying mirror in it. It’s such a small things to add to bump up the service level. I prefer being asked if I minded the bed sheets not being changed daily. They were changed on the day we were supposed to have checked out but extended out stay. For the room price I expected the sheets to be changed daily. The hotel needs a better cleaning service. Windows opposite the elevators are dusty and seem to not have been cleaned for a long time. Corridor carpets are badly stained. At breakfast, place mats were not clean, one could see dried food bits and stuff on a supposedly a table ready for the next guess. The on my first visit was nice but on another visit the following morning, I found straws and trash from the day before and sand on the sun beds. It does not seem that the beach gets cleaned or combed. We pointed this out to staff and they only went after the sea kelp thrown by the waves on the beach. It is such a turn off when something that is so easy to clean isn’t, makes you think what else is not properly clean. We understand that the property, thought only four years old, will be shut down for extensive renovation under new management. Hopefully this will give the property what it needs to shine.
This property has a lot going for it. It’s modern and has an excellent location, close to the center of Alacati. The staff is friendly and the room I had was spacious with a beautiful view of the sea. The Bed and pillows are very comfortable and the bathroom is also spacious. Breakfast at Zafron was wonderful. They offer an extensive array of items at the buffet. Servers were enough so that one was almost immediately served. The hotel has a small beach but the beach they have has white sand and and the sea is very inviting. The sand extends to a distance into the sea. The sea is shallow for quite a bit so in my opinion safe for children. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and even extended a couple of days because of the sea, weather and our visits to Aleçati city center. I would recommend this property to friends and family and may also stay again if a few vital things were changed.

United KingdomI think the hotel/ resort is highly overrated. There was nothing so special about this resort for the price tag. I recently stayed at the Swiss hotel which was on par for the fraction of the price. They were pretty stingy with the soap and shampoo. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay again.
It was very picturesque. The up keep of the hotel was really nice and clean. The resort was really beautiful. The staff was nice and friendly.

United Arab EmiratesI did not had one issue in my stay, the only thing I can add is maybe have more options for the Cousine in the restaurants, they have one Italian restaurant and another Japanese. We tried the Italian restaurant and it was pretty good.
One of the best places I stayed at in turkey, professional and friendly staff, hotel is very luxurious, rooms are very modern and spacious, the view is beautiful. The breakfast is pretty good. The location is also good.
