This is a lovely hotel with a gorgeous view and a great location. The hotel staff really does everything in their power to make sure the guests are comfortable and having a good time. They are truly lovely and very helpful people. On our first day, we got a call from Nazli from guest relations to welcome us and to let us know that she is there for us if we need anything. Nazli helped us with all our queries, booked our trip to Kos, arranged things for us, advised on practical things, etc. when it was my daughter’s birthday she arranged for a cake and flowers on her bed, which was such a nice thing to do.Thanks Nazli! We had some trouble with the internet connection and I had an important meeting. Again, the staff was extremely accommodating with manager Umit going above and beyond to help us out. All in all, we were very happy! Thank you for everything!

property is now old and shows of age. I am astonished it’s a 5 star considering they have no room service. you have to go the the cafe next to reception in the mains building or the restaurant which is below next to the pool. Very Few Vegetarian options in the buffet - so it was pointless taking half board. the chef said a straight no to the face when asked if he could Atleast sauté some veggies for us a group of 4 pure vegetarian rooms they say are sea view. but honestly that’s with some obstruction- Atleast the one they gave us. they gave us the 3rd floor saying view is great from top….for 250€ a night with this view - I don’t feel the value

The hotel has specific architecture and if they put you in room starting with 8..,then you have quite a lot to learn,how to get to the restaurant,pool and beach along the long corridors.As foreigners and traveling alone without organized group we were put as far away as possible,but the room was large and nice with spectacular view. The safe in the room was out of order and I complained twice at the reception,but nobody came to fix it or bring another one.

I used to stay in a nearby hotel,so I know Salmakis from before,the hotel needs renovation,but restaurant , food and service are very good,pool area very nice and well kept

bath room : easily to become wet due to the half open shower corner , be careful of the slippery floor ! Twin room beds was so narrow . restaurant : even it is located on a nice place beside the sea , but still far of the hotel rooms - you need to walk stairs down and up for around 5 min. - The breakfast cook has reject my order of the omelet even the eggs, mushroom & tomato all was ready in-front of him and it was 7:35 am while dinner cook and all other staff in restaurant was so nice :) * I think to have your own car with you is a must …

One main thing was you get an armband you have to wear during the duration of your stay and it was very visible on your wrist and when we were out and sometimes made us feel vulnerable people knowing our location in huge fonts on a bright wristband.

It was overall a great stay for a period of 3 days and 2 nights! The staff at Salmakis resort were always helpful and willing to provide us with any support and help we needed! Notably a gentleman under the name Mehmet at reception who was very welcoming and gave us excellent service throughout! Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the massage and spa facilities as there were selected times it was available. The breakfast selection was vast and delicious. Definitely would visit again.

Rooms need to renovate.. for the last 10 years didn’t find any changes .. Swimming pool toilets need to renovate..

This is my more than 10 times visiting Bodrum & always staying in Salmakis. We used to reserve under my husband name ☺️. Any how I like the pool atmosphere specially before corona with the daily activity/private sea & the food.
