Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomalthough the room was lovely and modern it was super tiny and we bumped our knees and subbed our toes on the bed a few times as there was almost no room at the bottom of the bed. perfect for a 3 night stay like we had but would maybe become annoying if staying any longer

SloveniaThe room is a bit small and neighbourhood is a bit loud but it didn't bother us that much.
The location was nearly perfect in the old town of Antalya. The room was small, but clean, and as we literally just slept there it did not bother us. The neighbourhood is a bit loud since it is in the centre. The staff was really amazing and friendly. :)

United KingdomOur room was very small, making it difficult to even open a suitcase. The room and especially bathroom weren't very clean and the shower was leaking all over the place. No hairdryer, in room safe or anywhere to hang wet beach towels. Breakfast was the most disappointing we had out of the 8 different hotels we stayed at in Turkey.
Good location in the Old Town, staff are friendly. We were able to check out late which helped with evening flight, however staff didn't confirm until the actual day which was a little stressful as we had to come up with a backup plan

United StatesThe beds are tiny and not very comofortable. The rooms themselves are super super small - we booked a triple room for just 2 of us (that was the available option) and it was tiny, to the point that we didnt have room to get dressed or put our things down. I cant imagine how 3 people would fit. the bathroom was so small there wasnt room to turn around. The manager kindly switched our rooms to one that was slightly roomier bc it was 2 twin beds instead of a twin and a full, amd the bathroom was a bit roomier. The beds are VERY small. There's also no room service, so we had to go request toilet paper and toiletries in middle. The garbage cans were overflowing by the end of our stay. There were also barely any other guests (it was pretty much deserted) and the place was completely quiet - this could be an advantage for some people if you're looking for quiet and calm. For us it was annoying bc we wanted to meet people.
Location is unbeatable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, clean, and everything is in good condition. They have a lovely roof terrace.

OmanHotel is opposite to the club. We heard people fighting at around 4am. Secondly, rooms and toilets are too small.
The staff were excellent. Hotel is at the city centre. Many restaurants around and close to the famous street in Antalya.

PortugalNothing in particular.
The room was nice and cozy and very clean. We asked to clean the room a couple of times while we were there and it was sparkling clean each time. The stuff was amazing, very cheerful and welcoming, they helped us with booking transfers, small trips inside the country and suggestions what to visit. The location was just perfect. Located in the old town, close to the beaches and nice cafés/ restaurants and all the little shops we were planning to visit. Would definitely stay with them again when visiting Antalya.

United KingdomThe property is within old town or the Kaleici district which is where the majority of the activities happen. Nice comfortable rooms. Seren, one of the receptionists, is a treasure chest of information. Good thing I heeded his advice to spend a minimum of 2 hours to explore Perge. I initially wanted to spend only 30 minutes in Perge, and in the end I ended up spending 4 hours exploring and photographing the ancient city. (If you are in the property and your own reading seems to contradict his advice, listen to him, his recommendation carries weight coz he likes to travel too.)

PakistanI stayed in three different locations in Turkey but staying at Solo Boutique was exceptional. The hospitality by Seren (the host) was way more than just about the hotel, he helped with the experiences and suggested all the amazing things available in Antalya and made us feel like home. Seren and Jim were amazing. As he says ‘you’re not just Solo Boutiques guest but you’re Antalyas guest’.
