Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery small bathroom; I didn't mind much, because all the facilities in the room were very good, but I think some might. I was told I could ask for room service at any time. The only time I did, I went to reception and asked if i could have a cup of tea. The receptionist said I would have to wait 10 minutes because he had just made some. I didn't get my tea. Overall though, the hotel was fine, suited me very well.
Good greeting. All facilities of a good quality; air conditioning, comfortable, solid bed, good shower, good furniture, tasteful, simple. Well located near the entrance to the old town, very near the beaches.

South AfricaRooms a very small, even for a boutique hotel but livable. Across the street from a restaurant with a live band that plays until late (not a problem for us but if you tend to sleep early it might be an issue). Not much else, a great stay!
Great location in the old city. A very vibey area with lots of bars, restaurants and shipping in the area. Great service from the staff and a choice of four rooms upon arrival. We were on the first floor and we had a private balcony to ourselves. Good, modern, clean rooms.

Austriaat first we were at a room with windows pointing to the old town where music was playing until late at night. the rooms were quite a bit narrow and tight. beds were just ok.
Ahmet was very helpful and kind. He recommended some bar in the area(Kaleici Buda) which turned out to be awesome as well. We were able to move rooms after we complained about the noise without extra costs.

United Arab Emirates-I was in Antalya for my friend's wedding and I was rushing to get a taxi and asked the Day 2 receptionist to call one for me but he said there's a taxi waiting area nearby. I walked there and the taxis wouldn't take me for some reason, and then I ended up being late to the reception since I had to wave down a taxi from the road and a lot of them wouldn't stop for me. (they also don't always take card so I had to withdraw cash from an ATM which further delayed me). All is well at the end but just a tiny inconvenience perhaps.
-Location was good for travelers, inside of the old town where there is some buzz going on during the weekends. -There's a supermarket that sells drinks just around the corner. -Reception can call a taxi for you since Ubers can't drive into the old town. -Two of the receptionists were quite nice and chatty (put up with my banter!) -Plug in the bathroom! (what a plus, I mention this because a lot of bathrooms don't have plugs to straighten your hair or curl it, usually it's just a shaver plug which doesn't work with higher power tools).

PakistanThis isn't necessarily the hotel's fault that it's in the centre of the old city (some could say it's a plus as well) but the room was quite noisy with bars and restaurants playing loud live music late into the night. It may not bother you if you're a night owl but I had most of my activities early in the day and could not get much sleep as a result. Again, not the hotel's fault. They offered to change me to a quieter room but unfortunately there was none available
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped me with directions around the city and even offered an Antalyakart card! Anything I needed, they were happy to help. The location is smack in the middle of the old town market so everything is walking distance. The view from the terrace is amazing

United KingdomThe rooms are on the small side but perfect for 1-2 persons sharing. Being in old town with bars & restaurants nearby it can be noisy at nights and late afternoon. This would be tricky is working remotely. They moved me to the back room which was helpful and resolved the noise issue for me. It’s a plus however as you’re in the centre of things with lots to do & see once you step outside.
Solo Boutique Hotel is a chic, modern and small hotel. The staff were very friendly particularly Seren & the female member of staff (I didn’t get her name). They were both so helpful and made me feel very comfortable there. The location in Old town in perfect! The beds were super comfortable and good water pressure in the bathroom. The coffee was amazing which I enjoyed having on the terrace upstairs. Staff were so accommodating with booking my taxis & helping me with information. There is an amazing jewellery shop on the corner also with a lovely owner & a boutique clothes shop next door which has amazing stuff. I look forward to returning one day :)
