Out of our whole trip of 2 weeks this was the most unique hotel with the best host we've ever encountered all over the world! The owner Nil attends to you as if you are a VIP client and she even arranged our balloon flight and went over and beyond when it got cancelled cause of the wind to ensure we have the experience we came for. She organised a tour for us that suited our interests and tume frame The rooms are magnificent and the most spacious we've stayed at in Turkey. The view from the breakfast room are just incredible and mesmerising. Their breakfast was the absolute best! Thr egg salad & omelettes are to die for! I can't fault anything and it exceeded our expectations. Will definitely return to this amazing place and Nil makes you feel like family. It is a brisk walk to town and as in the whole of Turkey lot's of steep walking up and down but we enjoyed the exercise. Fabulous stay!

Loved everything. Nil is such a fantastic host! She reached out to us prior to our arrival and welcomed us right after we arrived! She’s full of energy and gave us all the information we need to make our trip memorable . We felt like home staying there even it’s just a short time. Food and drinks are delicious and well displayed. Nil even packed lunch for our road trip, my husband and I are amazed by her hospitality. Room is cozy and extremely well maintained with great taste. We loved how the room is decorated, unique and classy! Absolutely would love to come again! Make sure you talk to Nil about history of Cappadocia. Her introduction was informative and made our trip so much easier and fun!

An hotel like no other. Service provided by the owner, Nil and all staff is another level, which made my Capadokia trip very easy, effortless but super satisfying. Nil was so kind and passionate enough to help with quality for literally everything you ask as a tourist from transportation arrangements, travel plans, dinner reservations, advice for souvenirs, etc. Wonderful breakfast for another plus I felt like home there, not just a hotel. A surprise gift made my bday even more special too. Thanks a lot!

Beautiful rooms and nice breakfast. I previously stayed in Goreme and really regretted not coming to Urgup sooner - it's much nicer and quieter. Huge thanks to Eunice who looked after us all - one of the nicest people I've ever met :)

It was in a neighbourhood with family homes and set of the main road. It was small and personal. Beautiful rooms and very stylishly created. Extremely comfortable and warm despite the evenings being chilly at this time of year. The beds and laundry very clean and comfortable. Lovely terrace to sit and have breakfast and drinks with fantastic views of Urgup. NİL and Unus ( sorry not sure if that’s the right spelling) and the two ladies Marta and the other lady take care of your every need. Breakfast was always fresh and local and they even bought oat milk for my friend who was dairy intolerant. NİL is so informative with maps and local history of the area. She takes time out to explain everything. Whether booking trips, balloon rides, days out, taxis and dinner, NİL or Unus were there happy to help. And Unus doesn’t go to bed until he knows everyone is back safe and sound in the hotel at night. It was the most incredible stay and we already miss them all so much. You left friends not hoteliers by the time you departed.

The hotel itself was incredible, the rooms were excellent with extremely comfortable beds, very nice and elegant facilities and the views were fantastic. Additionally, every morning there was a fresh breakfast with anything you could think of, and fresh eggs and dishes made to order, it was all delicious. What stood out the most though was Nil and her staff, they are incredibly kind and knowledgable and made the experience one of a kind.

Incredibly wonderful and gracious owner and host. She met us upon arrival and gave us great tips on how to plan our visit. Cave rooms are unique and comfortable. Property is designed and decorated beautifully. Turkish breakfast was the best we had in Turkey after three weeks!

Excellent hotel rebuilt from an old house in the rock. Only a few rooms, but each one is unique. The owner, a very friendly woman, manages the hotel herself and welcomes guests. She will tell you interestingly about the hotel, Cappadocia and help you make a plan for every day of traveling around the region.

The location is a bit far from all buzzing touristy areas but that was a blessing in disguise for us as were nestled in a peaceful and calm setting, away from the crowds.

We were tired when we reached but all our fatigue disappeared when we entered this beautiful property. From the get go, the owner Nil made us feel so comfortable as if it were our home! She is an amazing human being who treats all her guests like family :) The property has been made in a very tasteful manner with all the comforts of a modern hotel, overlooking a breathtaking view of the caves. There was an uncanny calmness we experienced during our stay at the property. Breakfast was delicious and the staff in general were very caring and helpful! Special mention to Hotel manager Youssuf who went the extra mile to take care of us and make our stay memorable.

SOTA Cappadocia was a incredible place with an amazing ambiance and fantastic location. But what made it even better were the people. Nil provided us with endless suggestions right down to what to order for dinner at all of her favourite restaurants- we were never disappointed! Her staff, Yunus, Meltem and Hibe were incredibly attentive to all our needs and their smiling faces made us feel right at home. Thanks SOTA for the lovely stay!

Staying only a few days

I love everything, the facilities, the breakfast, the Team. Nil had been a great host. On the first day, we arrived at around 9.30am, we were greeted by Nil. She explained everything about the hotel and asked me about things we wanted to do. We were treated like family. Then next thing breakfast was prepared for us. This was the first time I got breakfast on checked in day. We felt like staying in a relative house and not a hotel. Then there was Yunus, Yunus was the staff who stayed in SOTA the whole time. He was sooooo helpful. Every time we met him, he always asked whether we needed anything. Water was free refill the whole time. Breakfast was also amazing, even thought, SOTA had only 7 rooms, but breakfast was served buffet style. Breakfast selections were many and freshly made. I was excited every time for having breakfast at SOTA. Room was excellent, lighting was more than enough, bed so comfortable and size more than adequate!

We have never been so well received in a hotel. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. The rooms are breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast is complete and the staff was attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The owner spent a lot of time giving us the best tips for our day's visits. We were incredibly surprised by the impeccable welcome they give to every guest.

It is a fantastic accommodation in the heart of Urgup, the owner Nil and her partner Burak as well as all the staff are excellent, very welcoming and very helpful in everything. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia
