Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineIt's a very basic hotel recommended for a sleep rather than enjoyment, but it offers some great advantages: 1) location - near traditional and high speed tram stops (the latter will take to the bus station, airport and, not to forget, Perge ancient site, quick and cheap; the hotel is 200 m away from Hadrian's gate, within old city walls, 10 minutes walk to the best beach and anything you want. 2) and 3) go together - you may enjoy a very good, cheap, delicious and big breakfast on the rooftop with perfect views of the sea, mountains and the old city. The host is very welcoming and will help you with everything, including advice on sites, transport, meals etc.

GermanyNoise in the neighbourhood and other rooms is very common at night. There are multiple bars/ restaurants with music. Make your yo bring earplugs with you.
Hasan is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is very central. The room is quite basic, it is not luxurious at all and it has the very basic commodities. However, it is super cheap. I think it is a great value for money. If what you need is a place with the basics to sleep and to have a shower while you visit the city, I highly recommend this place.

United KingdomIt was a bit noisy; I had expected noise from the surrounding area as it’s in the town centre, but there was noise and doors slamming from other guests. Despite this, it’s a great place to stay in the centre and I am pretty certain that I will stay here again.
Great location and easy to find. Easy access to the Tramvay, in the heart of the old town. A lovely rooftop terrace with free tea and coffee and where guests were able to prepare and enjoy their own meals. Staff very friendly and helpful.

BulgariaYou can hear your neighbors and there is some noise coming from the restaurants nearby, but this is a problem every hotel has in the old town.
Value for money is unbeatable in the old town. The conditions are basic but completely acceptable.

United StatesI had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise hotel. The hosts Hassan and his wife made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel has an excellent breakfast taken on its rooftop where you can overlook the old city and sea. The location of this hotel was perfect for everything…harbor, food, shopping. Hassan ensured that I got the airport for my 6am flight! While it is true that the room decor is a bit “tired” it had ZERO impact on my enjoyment of the hotel and room. My room was clean and very functional and the bed was very comfortable. I was able to meet a lot of people on the rooftop terrace on the evening which was fun too. Thanks for a great stay!

United KingdomThe only thing I didn't like was the fact I could hear people easily through the walls but you get use to it after a 2 days. But still extremely worth it for the money!!!!!!!
I really liked the hospitality and the information Hasan gives to his customers. He is always giving alternatives on what to do in and out the city. He has a very good sense of humour and will help you to the fullest to make sure your trip in Antalya is the best it can be. He is also a very good person in general with a nice personality and is always honest about everything. He will even offer you a ride to the airport or wherever you need to if you need it. Hasan is always available on the go for anything you need.

RussiaI realize that this is an old building and there's no elevator there, so just be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs.
A perfect hotel choice if you're staying the night or you don't really plan on spending much time in the room. It's worth mentioning there was also a kettle and a small fridge in the room. Visiting rooftop is a must by the way, the view is amazing.

United KingdomBalcony door made from wood wasn't very tight, so in winter at night was a little bit cold. But the manager give me a little electric heater, so it wasn't so bad.
Room was quite big for me. There was a little fridge, old style bathroom, mirror, double bad, wardrobe, little table and chair, so everything what you need was quite good qualities. There was a balcony from which I could see nice panorama, sit and eat my breakfast on the plastic chair with small table.
