Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandRoom cleaning was not very good, they didn't wash the dishes at all, so I would have had to drink from the same dirty glass all week. Towels were changed only once. The sound insulation was poor, all souds from the corridor and from outside could be clearly heard. The worst part was that there was a lot of services being promoted and advertised for example at the pool all the time someone was selling something, it was disturbing.
The interior of the hotel was charming and the location was good.

NetherlandsWe had the cheapest room option, which happened to be in a separate building on another side of the road. Also it was the first floor only with a wall view. That is something that would be nice to know in advance (maybe update the pictures on the website?) thanks
Very stylish hotel with great food and very helpful and friendly staff. Really good variety of vegetarian options! Perfect sandy beach, three swimming pools with multiple options to sunbathe and have a drink or meal at the hotel territory. Very clean and esthetic atmosphere. A special thanks to the reception manager who frequently helped us with different types of requests, as well as to the sweetest Selma, who was continuously sorted out all our food-related questions 🤗

RussiaThe only issue is these stupid night music at the adjacent Xperia hotel: they have 0 people at the 'disco' and keep on playing very loudly outdated pop music :/ Thus it's hard to fall asleep
I loved the stay at the hotel. Food and drinks: - all inclusive food was amazing in comparison to what I'd seen previously in Turkey. Wide selection, a lot of healthy options. Drinks were basic but nice Service: - the guys are amazing. Very warm, welcoming and nice. Special thanks to Irem and Khuseyn at the reception: helped me with all the questions throughout stay Room & cleaning: - I strongly recommend the studio rooms overseeing the sea- loved the vibe and the room view - Cleaning was timely and neat. Nothing to add here Will definitely come back!

LithuaniaGirls, don't forget to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. because hotel only has 2in1 stuff which is horrible. In general hotel looks pretty, but rooms are sometimes giving "landlord special". Also, if you dont have ear plugs, it will be hard to sleep. Another thing - skip on SPA, compared to European standard its bad.
Stylish hotel with great pool areas and private beaches. Breakfast had decent options, food in hotel restaurants is ok, enough options for vegetarians and pescetarians, good cocktails at the bar. Rooms and public areas pretty clean. For a good night sleep - don't forget to bring ear plugs.

DenmarkWe haven't received the room we ordered, Instead of a suite we got a studio apartment. We have been offered a bottle of wine and fruit as compensation but they refused to refund the difference between room prices, which we would have preferred. The spa and the game rooms were either closed or not ready for use, probably due to low season.
Nice location, 4 pool option, wide lunch and dinner options. restaurant located in the hotel House of Bohema is probably the best place in Alanya to get food - quality, staff, view - stands out from all the places we saw during the week,

Great stay at Cook's Club Alanya. It was still low season, so Hotel was not busy. The hotel is divided on 2 sides of the street and I had a great big room with sea view. Food was also nice, but choices could have been better, but this was probably due to not many guests in low season. I am sure in summer hotel is much busier. They have a nice beach bar as well.

SingaporeOnly one thing, freaking separate single beds put together as double. Plus, they are really small. Ok two things: toilet supplies are a must for a hotel with such standard
The concept, the vibes, and much more. I have read every single review before booking that hotel. And to my surprise some comments were unfair to the place and to the staff. Yes, sometimes they might get overwhelmed by the load of work but your request will be answered just be thoughtful and put up a smile first. Thank you Burcu & Ahmet for genuinely help and making the experience more enjoyable. The modern designs & furniture of the outdoor were highlights. And the cherry on the top was that restaurant House of Bohem, the food was mouth watering and large portion. The tunnel that connects the main building with the rest of the hotel (the most interesting part) is not something to complain about. I honestly was worrying if it will be a burden that I even asked if I can upgrade to sea view on my check-in time. Only to discover it's within the building and kinda fun to go into.

GermanySundbeds on the beach are very tight set up and on the main pool it is very hard to find space all together. Outside of our room the resort music starting blasting from the hallway speakers every morning at 8am until late...some of the beanbags/sunbeds have seen better days and could do with replacement. Shower in our room also leaked water everywhere
Great location, beautiful Hotel and very nice food and staff!

SwedenSome features are a bit run down but still clean and sufficient. Would have liked a bit more space at the beach and pool area since it gets crowded and also a bit too loud music during the day. Most rooms are located on the other side of the road but with a tunnel connecting to the beach side, didnt bother us but can be good to know.
Comfy beds and spacious room that actually turned out to be a small apartment. Good breakfast with lots of options, as well as a nice setting to sit in. Great to be able to chose from two different beach locations, one more relaxed and the other a bit more lively. Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel location is central but still not in the middle, which means its more quiet.

PolandNot all the staff spoke English and I lacked some of the vanity kits in the room, my coffee pods were never replaced. Unfortunately, until the last day (I was not a member of all inclusive) I was not informed about the discounts I had for the House of Bohem - not fair…
I loved the location and organisation. The idea of pool, bar and beach in straight line is just perfect!

United KingdomRooms were too hot with poor air circulation, the AC does not work without the room card. There was a weird smell in the room. Rooms are a bit messy (there are generally too many things like lamps, pillows, tables, cushions, carpets, etc) and do not look particularly fresh.
The facilities are just fantastic — three big outdoor pools, nice access to the sea, great restaurants

FinlandOn saturday there was an private event which took place basically in half of the hotel area. Hotel guest got in with discount price. We were not keen so decided watch the footie game but obviously the music was super loud. We find that a bit odd. Hotel photos from booking.com gives you an idea of beach view from the hotel room and that the hotel would be right at the beach but was on the other side of the road. No possibility to book a room with sea side view. At the hotel that would have cost a lot of extra money. Why not add that option on the websites? Other than that, everything was all gucci!
Hotel are was great and had a really nice vibe. Always got ”hello” from the staff :-) Private beach was awesome and had service from the staff. All we had to do was cooling down in the sea water😍. Definetly would recommend and considering to visit again!
