It was my second time staying in Svalinn hotel, the breakfast wasn’t as fabulous as last time, but still better than many other hotels in turkey , the quality of bath stuff wasn’t enough good ; I kindly suggest to reconsider it. The internet in the room was so weak, so it really need urgent attention. By solving these small issues you could receive next time highest rate :10/10 from me. Thanks all

It's almost impossible to not to like anything at this hotel. If there is anything wrong then they have very professional stuff to deal with your query.

Svalinn Hotel is on my life time hotel list now. I can't really think of anything to complain about it. Mr Serkan was so professional and kind to help with all of my special requests. He was always there when I needed him. My son wasn't well when we arrived because he had stomach problems. I went to restaurant and asked a chef to brew me a mint and lemon tea so he can get better. This was a special requests off the menu and they said they will do it right away and it's their pleasure to help my son get well. They asked me to return to my room to my son and as soon as the tea is brewed then they will bring it to my room. I have especially told them that this is off the menu but please make sure you charge me for it. The tea was brewed for my son and brought to my room with a smile and a little note on it saying it's from us and the guy said it's on us we hope your son will get well from it. This was so touching to our hearts. Let's come to the cleaning of the hotel. I do really care about cleaning. I can say that every inch of this hotel is getting cleaned every day. The hotel has a very refreshing smell. I asked cleaning ladies to clean our room and had a special requests. They cleaned our room very well and left extra towels as we requested. Not only cleaned our room they have also tidy up our sons clothes nicely on their bed. Everyone is happy working at this hotel and this mood is passed on to you. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room that we stayed in was so big that my both sons were running up and down. Bathroom is another level. I have never enjoyed a bath in a hotel before until I have had one at the Svalinn. Their bathroom style is so good and comfortable. As I have said above I will return and stay only at this hotel for the rest of my life whenever I'm in İzmir. We really enjoyed our stay and once again thank you Mr Serkan.

The staff were not helpful and specially Alp he had an attitude because I requested towels at the end of the day. He was rude, mean and he hanged on me. I didn't expect to be treated this way as a guest. Also when checking in we had 5 rooms reservation. I checked in the first room one night before other coworkers arrive. The room was booked double and I wanted to stay in it alone. Then afterwards we needed to upgrade one single room to double they made me pay 1000 TL per night extra, at the same time they didn't accept to accommodate with the first room that was booked double and used single. Knowing that all the five rooms double and standard were two beds. Their suggestion was to change my room that had all my staff in it to another room that was booked single. And let the other coworker use my room. And this sound so irrelevant to me.

The Breakfast is excellent, room size is so convenient.

Location is not really near much. Housekeeping needs to (1) pay attention to what they find (and remove from) inside the room. We were three guests in one room. And, daily, we returned to discover too few sheets and towels and toiletries because housekeeping removed more than what they replaced. And (2) housekeeping should NOT 'adjust' the interior room temperature. They should NOT unplug the electrical service room card. They should NOT open (nit leave open) guest room windows. Nor should they adjust the thermostat!! Unacceptable!!

I booked the hotel because of their spa, but nothing worked. The sauna, the steam room, the salt room was closed and the spa area with the pool was dirty and with no towels or personal to ask for help in the whole floor with the spa. It was only a cold pool, that’s was it.

The location is acceptable if one has business at the airport, or has to take the plane after a sleep-over. But certainly not a good location if one stays longer than a single night. The area is directly located next to a very busy street/highway, and the noise pollution is significant. With respect to the staff, I have to say that I did not find them extremely welcoming, and the fact that no one spoke a word of English did not make it better. The Spa area was very dirty. The picture in the advertisement is real but misleading.

The breakfast was okay with lots of choices, but relatively unfriendly staff. The room itself was spacious and clean.

very stingy hotel. Charged hell of money but did not want to give facilities. Air condition did not work properly. Only gave one duvet for family of 5. The towels provided were so old that no one will like to use it. 250ml of water was charged for £5. Very expensive. staff lies to book you and later Denis that they never promised it. when showed them whatsapp conversation they refuse to honour it

The staff lied on WhatsApp that we will be able to help you by giving early checkin. That was the only reason I booked this hotel but when we reached hotel the staff said that we will charge you one extra day. shame for lying. never again to this hotel

Although hotel got large rooms but we were given smaller room ( I started larger rooms at previous stays ). I do visit this hotel every year but this time hotel was very very busy and the other guests are not the best ones. They were all over the hotel, very loud, without face coverings and rude ( when they talk each others there is lots of bad language’s ). We went to the restaurant for the breakfast but it was chaotic. Staff were outnumbered, we wait for the our table cleared so we can sit and have our breakfast but the staff couldn’t coop with workload. After while no one showed up and we have cleared the table by ourselves. I feel sorry for the staff. Hotel management should be more organised and warn the guests for their behaviour. It was very disappointing stay this time and I am not sure if come to Svalin again ever.
