Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

It is a homey place. It was not like a hotel and bling bling, it was just perfect. It is set in the Old Town and I was surrounded with all the real culture of Turkey. BEAUTIFUL!!! and PRICELESS!!! I will for sure go back again!!

United KingdomGiven the traditional construction of the buildings it can be a little noisy on a Friday/Saturday night when the nearby bars and clubs are in full swing. All part of the atmosphere but something to be aware of!
A wonderful stay from start to finish. We arrived very late in the evening but the team had stayed up to receive us. Clean accomodation in a beautiful traditional setting. Breakfast was a particular treat for us; we ate in a range of different places during our stay but the simple elegance of breakfast at Tekeli Konakari in sunny courtyard was hard to beat. The accomodation is right in the heart of the old town, only a short walk from the harbour and is in a great location for exploring around on foot. Thank you again to our hosts for such a hospitable experience.

Russia- wooden windows are not suited well for sound comfort - you will hear all noise from the street (which may easily occur even at night due to close location of bars and restaurants) - I expect WiFi password to be kept in a visible place in the room (e.g. on the table). In my case it was written down on the small matchbox (I bet you will never try to find wifi password here). Would be good to have a usual nameplate with wifi name and password in the room.
Very nice and authentic hotel in the heart of the city with the beautyful courtyard. Our room was decorated in ottoman style: wooden ceiling, fine ceramics in the bathroom, decorative elements. Breakfast was quite good. Staff is helpful and friendly. It is important to know that there is no possibility to drive directly to the hotel by car because central area of the city is closed for traffic.

RussiaAll was fine.
This place absolutely exceeded our expectations! It's a very cosy Ottoman group of small buildings surrounding a cozy garden in the most perfect location you could find. The room we got was huge, much bigger than we expected, it even had a small second room with an extra single bed. Every detail in the rooms is so well-thought: wooden floors and furniture, ceramics, decorations, amazing tiles in the well-equipped bathroom - oh, so beautiful. And the beds were fantastic: at first I thought they're too soft, but I've slept like a baby all the nights I've been there. The breakfast was also huge - it's just served for you at the table. The basics are the same every day, but the main breakfast dishes change every day, and they are all amazing. And the staff is so welcoming and helpful - we really felt like at home during our stay. Thanks a lot, we will certainly come back!

United KingdomBreakfast could have offered a little more, compared to other Turkish breakfasts there were a few things missing. Authentic Turkish coffee would also be a good option
Cleanliness was excellent. The room was huge and beautifully furnished. Towels were clean and fresh. The staff were attentive and wouldn't let us carry our luggage without help. Taxi was ordered from the hotel to the airport and arrived in 2 minutes.

ItalyThe swimming pool is smaller than you might expect from the pictures, but is however adding a touch of freshness.
The hotel offers a lovely yard just in the hearth of the old town, but away from the most crowded and noisy lanes. The room was ample, with a decorated wooden ceiling and a fresh perfume of wood. The staff was always of assistance and helped in solving also car parking problems. The various cats around are a simpatic presence.

United Stateslighting in room could be improved.
We stayed at the charming Tekili Konaklari for two nights in September 2021 upon our arrival in Antalya and for one night before departing from Turkey. The hotel was converted from a Pasha’ residence and is charming in every respect. Mehmet and his staff are very friendly and helpful and they took care of having our laundry done. The ample breakfasts were delicious and various entrees were cooked and served to us each morning. The hotel is conveniently located close to the port area and the Clock Tower. We would definitely stay there again.

CanadaThere are some mosquitoes on the property but I think this is normal in the old town. There is repellent in the room and on the tables in the breakfast area. The TV didn't work at first. Someone came to fix it but then it stopped working again. You need 2 controls to use it. I think I likely pressed an incorrect button. Very minor but it would likely be a good idea to simplify it so only one control is needed. They definitely would have come back again if I asked but I did not.
Excellent location in the old town. The family that runs it is extremely kind. When I asked for a take out breakfast since I had an early flight they insisted on providing their usual excellent breakfast at 630 am when the usual breakfast start time was 800. Beautiful tilework in the room.

United StatesJust returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. I rarely use the word magical but it applies here. The location is only five minutes walk to the Antayla marina or one side of the local bazaar but is still quiet and restful. The management of COVID protocols was excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful with interesting and beautiful design touches from the artwork and furniture selections in the room to the use of terraces and porches to create privacy for each room while keeping them connected to open terrace and pool spaces. Mehmet, the owner and manager, helped us book local tours. I twisted an ankle one afternoon and he pulled together an unexpected dinner for us when I couldn't walk out to another restaurant. Breakfast each morning was lovely, served on the terrace overlooking the pool. I am vegetarian, which was occasionally limiting in Antayla's restaurants but they gave me lots of options when we did eat dinner at the hotel. If you are going to Antayla, this is a wonderful, welcoming place to stay.

United KingdomI had asked for a quiet room but the room we were in overlooked the street and the noises at night - of club music belting out nearby and passers-by loudly talking - kept us awake until the early hours. Also there was no comfortable chair in the room and the shower room was very small.
A collection of characterful old buildings with a swimming pool neatly fitted in between the buildings;pretty flowers growing in the central area between buildings; nice room (but noisy-see below); charming, helpful staff; nice breakfast (though no choice)
