At night it was a bit loud from people partying on the streets since it's pretty central. But if you bring ear plugs or have a room on the other side of the house that might be not a problem.

The staff is great. Super friendly, so I could leave my backpack in the hostel after checking out until the evening and also use the common rooms. Originally I booked a dorm but got upgraded to a private room which has perfect size and great bathroom. Bed Was really comfy. Location is great! All the restaurants and bars are close, as well as the coast.

Incredible location, near to lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Not loud since it’s on a side street. Owner was very kind. The building is very old, so the room and bathroom are quite dated. Towels and linens are mismatched and used, but seemed clean. It is significantly cheaper than every other place in Izmir, so you get what you pay for. Definitely a hostel vibe rather than a hotel.

The mattress is not very comfy, there’s a very loud music at night out from a nearby night club, there is only a single bathroom 🚽 and there’s slight stink from the toilet, when I reached at night I didn’t get a towel maybe because I booked late.

Excellent location close to the city center where different transportations are available, so friendly staff, good hub for meeting diverse people, the internet 🛜 is very good and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Be aware that there are mixed rooms only. At one point it turned out that it was just me and another guy living in the hostel and we were put in the same room. The owner agreed to move me into a separate room after my complaint, though. Also, I was bitten by some insects, hopefully just mosquitoes (it's humid in that old building so that's probably it). But it's been a week after my stay and the bites are still red and itchy, which is annoying. It is not that much cheaper than a room in a regular hotel to put up with it. Maybe it's different in the high season

Hosts are very nice and good people. Location is in the heart of Izmir. Hostel is in an old greek building with history, for those who love some historical things - it might be very interesting, I liked it.

Everything was great! Despite of the language barrier the hosts are very very amicable and hospitable.

The location was perfect. It was in the liveliest street of Izmir. It was very well connected to the metro station, just a 2 minute walk. The sea was also barely 200 m away.

The common shower ceiling is a bit low, and might be a challenge for people over 1,80m.

I booked a room with a private bathroom which was non existing. When they saw my face when looking at the (extremely disgusting) bathroom I was supposed to use, they showed me the private bathroom of the other room. So every time I wanted to use it I had to go through the other room… I was told to have a terrace with a garden view in my room, which was also not true. Also the room was approximately 30 TL more expensive than on booking.com. I left a day earlier and the staff was extremely keen on Transferring me the money back even though I said it is not needed. The money never came, and I don’t understand why making such a big fuzz about it if they didn’t do it anyways…

The hospitality of the hosts! And it had AC, free and clean towels.

Dorm doors seriously need WD40. They squeak loudly every time the door is opened which isn’t great when people are coming and going late night and early morning and this could easily be solved. Need a curtain for shower. Water gets everywhere. When I was staying, the shower was also falling out of the wall but was still usable.. No curtains on the top bunks.

Location is great, not far from train station. Clean, comfortable beds and AC in room with security lockers for valuables. Didn’t use the kitchen but they have one as well as filtered water. Staff are nice. Free laundry!!

The bathroom had no door! There was just a little curtain, so if you travel with someone else, you have no privacy in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable, and what was supposed to be a bed for 2 was a bed for 1 (the cover was not enough to cover two people). There were only two electric sockets in the accommodation, one in the room and one above the basin, but both were loose, with cables being exposed, so we were a bit scared to use them. The window was impossible to open and there were people loud behind it till late, so earplugs might be recommended,

The area is very nice, full of cafés, nightlife and a promenade nearby. It's close to the Alsancak station with direct connection to the airport. The staff was friendly and did their best to help. The bathroom was fine, if not counting that there was no bathroom door.
