Noise in the hotel was awful. Walls are paper-thin I guess and you hear everything that is happening in the corridors and in the lobby. I understand that hotel staff cannot control guests but they could ask guests to be quiet in the night hours, not to slam doors or talk in the corridors on the phone. Same goes for hotel staff talking loudly with guests in wee hours. One night (and it was past 10pm) it sounded as if they were drilling in one of the rooms. Noise was really terrible and it continued for at least ah hour. It is interesting that I barely heard any noise from outside of the hotel, although it is located in a very busy area of the city, so all the noise was actually internal hotel noises.

Location of the hotel is excellent. When searching for the hotel it was one of my requirements and it completely met my expectation. It is located near the Sirkeci tram and railway station. In a walking distance from Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Eminonu, etc. Breakfast was nice. I liked having cheese and vegetables available daily, tea and coffee.

We stayed one night in transit and one night on the way back. The experience was better on the way back. On the way forward, there was no toilet paper in the room, the receptionist was unhappy that we didn't pay in cash. He didn't remind us about breakfast. On the way back, there were some uncertainties regarding the reservation, and they were asked to clarify the information within a few hours. However, we spent about 25 hours on flights without internet, so we could not update anything. Moreover, the information was the same as during the stay two weeks ago on the onward journey.

This is not the first time we have stayed here. We were here 15 and 10 years ago. It's nice to meet familiar, pleasant employees. We choose the hotel because of the great location. However, the hotel itself is losing its prime.

The rooms are not fresh, has to be mainteined and repaired. Furniture is old and falling appart everething. But this is some kind of a local flavor. Сockroaches are also present.

The personal is good ! The location is perfect ! Close to metro, close to the center and close to all touristic places and restaurants. The breackfast is good also!

The hotel arranged airport shuttle for me but when I reached the airport, I had to end up taking a cab at 2 a.m in a new country. I wanted a room with a tub but there was nothing to cover the water drain so I couldn't use the tub as a tub and the staff told me to shove tissue paper in the hole. Housekeeping forgot my room one day and another day only cleaned the room partially.

The location The hotel arranged cheap transport for me when I left the hotel for the airport (despite forgetting to arrange transport when I got from the airport to the hotel)

The rooms look much nicer on the photos on booking than in person,there i old furniture in the room,the bathroom is old and dirty,badsheets were dirty also, there is a lot of mold on the walls...

Facilities were questionable. Water was turned off multiples times throughout the day. Electricity was turned off a couple times during my stay. Pieces of flooring falling apart. But was generally clean.

The building itself is in need of major renovations and needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Many of the things in the room were broken or didn’t work, the bathroom had no shower door so all the water would get everywhere and the sink was about to fall off. Toilet very dirty. Room itself also pretty dirty.

The hotel is in an amazing location in the heart of old town and has lots of restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. The staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to accommodate you. For the price which we were staying at it is good value but the room was so old and dirty that it doesn’t make it extremely valuable.
