How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The bathroom was dark and there is no space to put our stuff. There was no balcony, the housekeeping kept taking the towels without replacing them which was a bit annoying to go to the reception everyday asking for new ones. There was no phone to call the reception so whenever you need something you need to go down.
The coffee place pekan downstairs. The location was good its just near carefour, many restaurants, Starbucks, and few minutes walk to the beach. The guy in the reception was nice and smiling all the time.

A little bit dusty, most probably the room was cleaned a few days before I've arrived, but it's not a big deal.
The location is nice: beach is near (around 10-15 mins walking), shops and bus-stops are all very close to the hotel. The room was nice and clean.

The road-facing windows don't seem to provide enough of acoustic insulation - the cars were few during the night but you can hear them well.
Very nicely equipped room with good layout and very comfortable bed/facilities. Even considering the downsides mentioned I'd gladly stay again.

Great location. Nice balcony view of mountains. Kind and accommodative staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Staff let us check in early and leave our bags at the hotel after our check out time. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Small room, not very cozy. Can be noisy if the window is street-facing.
I stayed for only one night, late check in was very smooth, friendly staff.

The breakfast is repetitive and very basic, the AC is not that strong.
Stuff was very friendly. A great location, near the beach and a lot of markets and restaurants around. Bus stops going to old city are also nearby.

turns out that every Tuesday theres a market in front of the hotel. so its quite loud. in the evening smelly until they clean it. but also you could put this on positive side of review if you like it😊

The breakfast caused bewilderment - it includes tea and coffee, but drinks for children are not provided, juice had to be paid separately. It would be great if there were some options for children
The location is very good, there are many of restaurants, cafe near by hotel. Also there is a Tuesday’s market very close to the hotel

Breakfast doesn't include coffee. You will have to pay for it. But the price is not expensive.

I didn’t like that almost under the hotel there is a kind of pub with karaoke at night and the levels of noise at night are really loud. Bathroom was ok but when you seat in the toilet you have your feet inside the shower not so comfortable and after shower you need to be careful to not slip.
I loved the location, some shops around and on Tuesdays there are the local market really next to it. The beach is just a short walk, close by I can find buses stops to go and visit the old town.

We booked a room with the balcony, but there was no balcony at all (and it was important for us!) The staff could not solve this problem and provide any other options. So double-check if the room is up to your expectations before making payment.

The location of this hotel is near to everything you need, within a short walk to the beach. The modern room is well maintained, very clean and large enough to be comfortable with plenty space to hang clothes. The Turkish Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Turkey, the bread for the bakery was delicious. We had a fab week here and would recommend to others

the breakfast! eating the same thing every single day was boring! they only gave me a plate of food, with a little cheese, jam, butter and honey and 2 pieces of tomato and cucumber! it was disappointing! menus could be a little more varied!

We were met very warm. Since our room was not ready at 11 am, we were given an upgraded room that was ready. Breakfast was fresh with own fresh baked bread. We were given complementary bottled water throughout our stay. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
