Unfortunately the whole hotel of clients had to be moved because of a request from the Municipal water service but Kaya put me in an equally wonderful hotel in Uchisar town where they gave me a nice room with windows.

Uchisar Kaya is always a soft place to land when I visit Cappadocia. They gave me the room that is my favorite to take balloon photos in the morning from the balcony. The view is stunning and unique in the world.

bed with wooden structure, it made a lot of noise whenever there is some movement, impossible to sleep for those who are light sleepers. The ad says room with panoramic view, but only some rooms really have a view, for the other rooms the view is covered by several trees that are in front of the pool.

You have to be fit to walk up all the stairs. Luckily I am. They did help with the bags which was great.

No “problems of abundance” to complain about! This is an adventure!

Uchisar Kaya is always my first stop visiting Cappadocia. Softest place to land and get past jet lag with the world class views and excellent hospitality. I’ve never been disappointed and Melve at reception was wonderful and gave me the valley view room I had requested far in advance. Superb.

Room has a very humid smell. It was difficult for people with allergies to fall asleep. Room looks old fashioned. And needed a renovation. The sink in your room was leaking after use.

View is amazing. ere you may take the most amazing photos wit the balloons. Cuisine is Ok. Included breakfast has a lot of options. It can appeal to all dieters and people of all ages.

Very noisy. There is a disco right next to the hotel that is on till 4am and you hear the noise in the rooms. Doors are not sound proof - so anyone talking in the corridors sound like they are in your rooms Also, staff were sometimes snarky and rude - we dropped off my mum (who is disabled) and a guy came out running and yelling no parking... We told him ok we just want to drop her off... He started shouting at us to open the boot for the luggages (because he doesn't understand English) and we repeated that we are just dropping off passengers. Also those with mobility issues, make sure that you advise beforehand - as they don't have a lift - we barely found a room for my mum.

The hotel architecture is unique and the view especially in the morning of the balloons is amazing. Good selection of breakfast

The entire hotel is in bad need of a renovation. It has faded in glory. There have clearly been *some* upgrades (carpeting, AC in rooms) but even those are in need of a refresh. The AC leaked terribly (soaking the carpet, filling multiple pitchers daily) and rattled to the point of madness. Our friends actually tried to fasten it together with bandaids. There is mold in the room because of the dampness. The food is frankly really bad compared to everything else we had in Turkey. The staff was nice but not helpful: difficult to communicate with before and during the stay — not even a passing level of English. What’s worst is that despite all this, it was not cheap. Go elsewhere!

The hotel itself is unique — lots of history and the pool was nice to have. Nice views. It could be very cool with significant investment.

Huge property, but suffering from shortage of staff.

Breakfast was not good. All stuff, including soup and boiled eggs, were cold. Nothing warm

The reception staff should be more accommodating. When my daughter fell sick, i called the housekeeping to get extra water and they said it with the charge. The breakfast are cold and repeated every day.

The breakfast is poor. The staff doesn't serve drinks or anything and it is all self service. The main problem is that staff that guests deal with don't have the authority to take incentives. Looks like all the incentives are decided by the top management which you as a guest can't reach out. I had a no show in my reservation and paid the room in full. I asked for an incentive or gesture but they didn't care. They didn't even care and made a gesture towards us. The hotel is old and needs a reconstruction. Overall I believe this hotel doesn't worth the price and customer satisfaction is very poor. They seem like as long as you pay the price they don't care about the happiness of customers.

The location of the hotel is good. The view of the rooms are great.

Nothing, great time

Mustafa knew how to greet us properly and even at 6am was able to take the time to get to know us and have a chat. Things like that really make the difference and I got the sense that all of the staff had the same outlook and training. Could not recommend enough. Good location for balloons in the morning and for walking into town, the facilities were top notch
