The shower must have had an on demand electric heater on it, as it oscillated between very hot and very cold. The curtains on the room were not blackout, but instead a sheer material that could be seen through. I was on the ground level and although I imagine foot traffic would have been low, I was not comfortable disrobing til I turned the lights out. Definitely some neighbourhood noise from traffic (loud stereos, big trucks), and either some noise from an adjacent unit, or possibly the restaurant. I didn't investigate, and it ultimately was not disruptive when it came time to sleep. I think it's important context that this hotel is reminiscent of unexpectedly nice little hotels you'd come across on a South East Asian backpacking trip, versus the western experiences of looking for a Holiday Inn. So despite my cons paragraph being longer than my pros, I did enjoy my stay and stand by recommending it to others with this context up front.

Great staff. The included transport to and from the airport was a breeze. Rooms were clean. Lots of water, and even soda included. Clean. Nice TV setup and Aircon. I was in at 8pm and out at 5am so my experience is limited to getting comfortable and going to sleep.

The fellow at the front desk that greeted us upon arrival was very friendly and accommodating. Then the restaurant staff was great also even though we arrived near closing time.

The ground floor room smelled moldy but was quickly transferred to another level which was much better. A pity the restaurant was closed on Monday but understandable.

Baseboards needed cleaning

The breakfast did not match the quality of the hotel. I stayed 2 nights and I didn't go for breakfast the second day.

I stay here if I have to do business around Trinidad and want quick access to the airport. Appreciate that they offer free transit to and from location. Restaurant food just keeps getting better and owner clearly is invested as each time I return, he’s made upgrades.

The breakfast did not have much options but I consumed what was available since I was over nighting only.

There's not much in Piarco for travelers spending a night while passing through POS airport. There's a decent supermarket a few blocks south and some other businesses, but not really anything that catered to visitors. All of that is perfectly OK of course.

The room was nice, the property was secure, and there was free shuttle to and from the nearby POS airport. Great service and attention from the management and staff. There was a nice restaurant and bar atop the hotel (with indoor and outdoor seating) that specializes in Thai and Indian cuisine. Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent.

The tap in the bathroom sink was not fully functioning with only a small trickle of water coming out of the end of the tap and the rest coming out around the sink. I could not get the water in the shower to come out hot, only tepid, so I abandoned that as I was only there one night.

Really close to the airport and the free shuttle with the taxi worked well even though it was almost 3am when I arrived. Staff were super helpful. Very comfortable bed.
