there were planes flying by a lot even at night. no place to park bike indoors. staff only available til 7pm. there were not a lot of shops around

(These are nitpicks; in general there was nothing wrong.) The locker to put stuff in is very small. Hope I didn't wake anyone up squeezing my backpack into it. Also there is a bathroom inside the bedroom area. But there is a note asking not to use it at night(which kind of ruins the convenience of having a bathroom so nearby)

It's nice, clean, cheap, conveniently close to the station and when I came there the lady was very welcoming! This place requires you to take your shoes off at the front entrance. Which I really appreciate. I like the look of the first floor with all the notes from people who stayed. Sorry I forgot to write one 😅.

The shared room is clean and comfy. There is locker for everyone. There is a man staff who I didn't meet is extremely friendly and helpful. I had to arrive late, but he called on the day to make sure I did receive their instructions sent by mail and to make sure I had no problem to do auto check-in by myself. Very kind.

Its quiet, close to station and other necessities and damen and kara are very friendly hosts. I enjoyed my stay.

The staff were very nice, but they weren't really helpful giving tips about taroko gorge (they did tell me where the travel info desk at the bus station was, so I was bale to get more info there). Next to each bed there were only two outlets and one was used for the lamp in your bed, so you basically only had one outlet by your bed. The bathroom was fine, but the floor got super wet whenever anyone showered.

Good location (8 min walk to train station/bus to taroko gorge). The bed set up with curtains was good. Overall, good enough place for a couple nights.

Bathroom, sheets and duvet could use a deep cleaning. Loud sounds of trains day and evening.

Very exposed to the train noise. Have stayed in other accommodations equally near the station but were more sheltered from the noise. Visible mold and musky smell in the bathroom The QR code manual check in is a bit of a bother

first night I arrived the showers smelled bad (might be due to drainage / pipe?). second night the smell was gone and didn’t return. super cold due to AC, also there is a loud generator right in front of the dorms that keeps shutting on and off repeat all night. very annoying. the blanket is also small (length wise).

No bidet in toilets so might be bit confusing for foreign tourist. It would be great to instal a dryer, as in June take you couple days to try your clothes on fresh air.

Friendly place to socialize with other travelers. Personal really friendly.
