The facilities here were amongst the best I've experienced out of all the hostels I've stayed in. Cleanliness was on point and the common area is big enough to accommodate a lot of people (perfect for digital nomads).

The rooms unfortunately don't look as nice as in the pictures. There were places where the paint was coming of the wall and stairs being repaired with duck tape. Also our room was towards the main street so it was really loud at night. But the hotel offered us free earplugs.

I changed a few rooms during my stay and some rooms' air were more stuffy than others.

Location is pretty decent, it's about a 10min walk to the subway station, and from there everything is quite convenient and accessible. I was craving a little bit more social interactions during the few days in Taipei, and this place was great for it. The common room is the whole first floor, with lots of open space and a few long tables where you can sit and chat. Laundry was more expensive than the other hostels in Taiwan but understandable since Taipei is a bigger city.

Towels are not included and you need to rent, there are also no towels in any bathrooms even for washing hands that would be nice. Note no lift till second floor, but for me that was no issue.

It is cheap and very close to all the street food and atmosphere of central Ximending. Beds also comfy with privacy curtain and showers and toilets in every floor. They also organised a tour one day where I met fellow travellers, and is a good place in general for solo people as in the common area easy to talk to others.

Damp smell in the dorm room, it was noisy because it’s next to a big street, very little space for your luggage, the dorm was quite cramped. the worst for me was the noise from the door and the lockers

No view from the room but we were out most of the day so didn't bother us too much. No large lockers for bags but a small locker for each bunk. The bottom sheet did come easily off the beds which was low-key annoying haha

The room was comfortable for a group of four friends sharing a four-bed dorm. Plently of room for luggage. Private bathroom was also great and cleaned daily. The rooms were quiet so we got a great nights sleep. The common area is large and there is lots of information on what to in the city. The front desk is helpful too. The hostel is a short walk to the main downtown area but far enogh away that you can escape it too. We had a great stay here :)
