Very dark at night because only few small lights. The pool area was hardly ever prepared with mattresses (you could get them yourself though) so not very inviting

Location. If you want to see a decent beach then it takes quite a walk to get there. The beach that is close is literally covered in smelly dead seaweed and rubbish. And another thing was power cuts. Loads of them... And lights... The bathroom is pitch dark it was a challenge to get myself shaved there.

Overall we liked our stay there especially the vibe and friendly staff. It's a nice place with a tropical mood.

My first night i slept in a dormitory and I had to change to a private room the following day. I felt the bathrooms were quite far and the dormitories are neglected. The room was just basic with no toiletries. WiFi can be utilised only around the restaurant and not in the rooms.

The staff were quite friendly and ready to help where needed. Breakfast was great. Location of the property is good Haji ( the driver) was very helpful in organising for tours and any transfers needed. Room well lit.

The toilets are outside of the room, so during the night, it is uncomfortable to go to the toilet. The swimming pool seems to be enormous in the picture but it isn't, it's quite small, but good. The lodge is quite far from the main/touristic concentration of people. You have to be back to the lodge before it gets dark. Otherwise, it's dangerous, especially if you are a woman travelling Solo. I recommend you rent a car, that you can explore the whole sout of zanzibar.

The place is beautiful and instragramable! Haha, the staff are very friendly and gentle. The swimming pool is delicious. I rent a car, and it facilitates a lot.. I could go in the other places I wanted without spending much money.

The lodge is not on the beach but it only takes you a 5 minute walk to get there. A longer walk to Paje or Jambiani or the motortaxi.

Its a bit far from Paje, but possible to walk, it will take you 30minutes. Or you can take a taxi for 10.000 shilling.

The location is a bit of a challenge because there is nothing else closer than Paje, and it's not actually on the beach. The Lodge charges really high prices for taxis and bottled water....3x the rate in town. Which was frustrating for me. Thursday nights there is a loud party until 4 am and you won't sleep so keep that in mind when booking.

The lodge and the gardens surrounding it are really nice. It's a little oasis from the heat since the beach has no shade. The staff are friendly and nice. The dorm is comfortable and kept very clean. The pool is refreshing and there are lots of comfortable places to chill and chat with the other guests. The breakfast is good.

Safe too small and can be easily opened. Need to cross a bigger road to get to the beach. Far away from Paje..always need a taxi. It's ok but just be aware in case it's important to you. Great driver with good fair prices. :)

People were friendly. I didn't see any other tourist, so it was quiet. Bathroom facilities and showers basic but cozy somehow and for sure clean. Had something rural:) Room was cleaned daily.

A bit quiet for me as a solo traveler. Mostly large groups or families, so not the best vibe for finding other solo travelers to link with for activities or meals. I'm working remotely and there wasn't really great spaces to set up (though I didn't expect that there would be and went into town for wifi/workspace).

Kind and attentive staff, good value compared to what I found in area. Safe and secure, relaxed. Decent wifi in public space. A bit of a trek to Paje, but I enjoyed the walk. Thursday night BBQ and party was fun and well-attended - even with the party going until 3-4am, it was quiet enough in my room when I went to sleep around 1am.

Excellent location, about 3 min walk from the beach. Really tropical feel, love the swimming pool. The party on Thursday was incredible and so much fun!!! Staff was really friendly and helpful. Loved their breakfast every morning. Overall great experience.

More variety in vegetables for dinner/lunch

Great staff with a nice breakfast and clean sanitary facilities. In addition the lodge is well located just in the middle between Paje and Jambiani. The beach is just across the road. The lodge’s accommodation is surrounded by original Zanzibar vegetation which makes it very relaxing, easier and faster to ground. The swimming pool is also a delight. Just big and deep enough and well maintained daily

There’s nowhere to wash the sand off your feet before entering the rooms. I also didn’t like that the wifi doesn’t reach the rooms. It’s a bit far from Paje and Jambiani so a taxi or Boda-boda is needed to go somewhere, but the staff were very helpful with organising this.

Great food, awesome, friendly staff, and nice personal touches like flowers on the bedsheets.

in that warm environment we lacked air conditioning, but we knew that the accommodation did not provide air conditioning

We chose this accommodation because of the price, the cuisine and the party that takes place here. All our expectations were met. The breakfast was good, the party was perfect and the environment with the pool is very nice
