I enjoyed my stay at the resort. Rooms were clean. Mohammad, Sule and Adeline as well as the hotel manager were exceptional. Thank you for decorating my Birthday Room at short notice so beautifully.

To begin with, fantastic location for a family. Felt like my own Villa with top rated service and comfort. Extremely polite and friendly team staff members looking after every need of the customer at all times. Eye to small small details are looked into by the team and ensures customer is happy 😃!! Further, Excellent food and choice of alcohol as well complementing the stay. I would rate this hotel very highly and would recommend to any family who is looking for a safe, homely and quiet time to experience Zanzibar and its beauty!!

Great staff, ready to assist with any request- Issa was a fantastic driver. Delicious food available and a good variety of options. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The access to the beach was superb and the pool area was very welcoming. The location away from the larger resorts suited the holiday we were after, and it was easy to walk or drive to the village as needed. We will definitely recommend to others to stay here!

The meals were all fine, however the chicken makanga was very flat.

The super friendly and helpful staff. Enoc and his team, the waiters Adelina, Catherin, Anifa, Mwana and Emy made our breakfast and dinner always a nice experience. The food is great. I did a snorkelling trip arranged by the hotel with external service providers, whose equipments weren’t very clean. I would recommend Warere put emphasis on things like this as the rest of the stay was amazing!

Warere is a beautiful spot of tranquility away from the hustle of Nungwi beach but close enough. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the whole vibe is so relaxing!! I really hope to return soon!

The service is a bit slow and the food is a little hit and miss. We had some lovely dishes and others not so much.

The staff! Especially Adelina and Baraka, also Issa the driver but lovely people all round. The beds are super comfortable and the pool is great. Loved the attention to detail and the special dinner they held on Valentine’s Day.

The beachfront room is gorgeous, food is amazing, staff really nice and friendly. And they make really good Pina Colada 😀When it is high tide you can walk straight to the ocean. With low tide watch your feet- lots of sea urchins. We were little bit worried about the road there, since very many people mentioned it. But it is not so bad. Warere Beach was our forth hotel and the road there was really good compared to the others. It is Africa, so Hakuna Matata 😀 Also hotel is little bit away from main Nungwi village. With low tide it is walkable by beach. We really enjoyed that it is so private and calm. Enough sun beds and tabels in the restaurant

Everything was to our liking,its location is a bit isolated. We would have stayed longer had it been available but the manager found an extra day for us it was great.

Lunch and drinks can be ordered at the pool instead of in the upstairs restaurant, but both often took very long to arrive. Extensive wine list, but often out of stock on many of the wines. It’s a bit of a distance from the main hub of Nungwi, (walkable if not extremely hot as it is in Dec) and taxi’s are comparatively expensive for such a short trip. A complementary hotel shuttle a few times a day in and out of town would be very well received.

Beautiful oceanfront rooms right on the rocks with lovely sunrise views. Well maintained and mature gardens with great daybed by the pool (if you’re lucky enough to snag it!)
