The hotel phone doesn’t go through if you call before arriving at the hotel. All communication is by email . They can do better by fixing their phone listed on the website

The bugs at evening, mosquito in the room. The gym equipment is a little old and out-dated. And they need to be cleaned properly, some handle are sticky.

Overall not much to complain about. The rooms are well maintained but felt a little worn out. But it was very acceptable and we enjoyed our stay. While free shuttle service was provided, the 2-3 mins ride from the airport to the hotel became over 30 mins due to heavy traffic getting out of the airport. Not the fault of the hotel though. The driver Saddiq did kept us engaged and interested by introducing Uganda and Entebbe to us while were stuck in traffic. That was very nice of him.

We arrived on a Sat afternoon. There was the free shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel is right by lake shore and the view was great. In the hotel there were families enjoying the weekend by the pool side. The vibe of the hotel was quite relaxing and peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were good. Facilities were nice and well maintained. The hotel is also right next to a public beach where locals were partying, but we did not go to the beach because of the crowd.

The fish wasn't good. It had a bad smell.

The Executive suite I slept in with the view of the lake. The friendly and professional staff. Breakfast is super. One can easily have that for the entire day.

The dining area and reception area could use some updating: the deco, light fixtures and vibrant planters. The dinner spread was a bit average. Nothing special. Also the lift is poor. And the general corridor areas walking towards the rooms need updating.

Rooms were quite nice. Bathrooms were modern. Beds nice. Good lighting Breakfast spread was impressive. The gym and spa facilities were modern with good staff. Also the pool was quite nice.

Lovely location close to airport on the Lake. Nice large room with balcony to the garden and lake. Quiet and very welcoming staff even at arrival at 3am

Quite surprised at how average this Marriott is for such a big international hotel company. It looks like they just took over a very old building and did not do much with it. It's in dire need of renovations. The rooms / decor / facilities are stuck in the 1960's. We got allocated a room with a shared door to another room (ie the sort of room you would allocate to families). Although we could not access the other room, we heard the other guest showering 3 times within the space of six hours, including during the night. Really very odd to be allocated a room like this and to be exposed to bizarre behaviours of other guests. Bed was not particularly comfortable.

The room / bathroom was big & clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Very average airport hotel overall.

Great location for me as I needed to be close to the airport and the UN base. hotel is secure and comfortable.

Our package was on a bed and breakfast basis but because our flight was very early, we asked for a voucher in lieu of the breakfast on our departing day as we would not be able to enjoy the breakfast and would be given breakfast on the international flight. The receptionist advised us that on the bed and breakfast basis your breakfast is in fact free and our request was not considered. The light in the rooms are very dim. There was no pressure in the shower in the en-suite bathroom.

The setting is lovely as the hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Victoria. The receptionist upgraded our room.
