Wrong information provided by the staff. Was told by the staff that the Canada side ferry is operating but when we went over the ferry ride was also not operating like USA side.

The sink was leaking water on the floor anytime you ised the sink. I called down and was told that we could switch rooms, but I had to go get the keys myself and move everything myself. Also, the lobby and restaurant area smelled of old seafood.

I was sitting in the pool area and a staff member offered me coffee. She served it on a tray with milk/sugar on the side, very professional. The hot tub was lovely. We used it several times. Beds were comfy. Nice to have coffee available on each floor in the mornings. Love that you can call down to ask for a coffee and will be delivered to your room. Nice touch.

Everything! Nice welcoming at front desk. Room was wonderful. Large, clean, quiet with an amazing view of the River. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman waiting on us was friendly and made sure we were happy. Power went out Tuesday evening. High winds. Fire alarm armed. Men at the front desk were concerned for the guests. We sat in the lobby and fire dept. arrived and gave the all clear. Fire alarm was shut off. Power returned a bit later. Overall, impressed with hotel employees response to this issue. Well done!

If some of the staff can be more polite (reception and restaurant), that will add the points to the hotel greatly.

perfect location with excellent view. This is the second time. Love the hotel as always and will come back in summer again. All the staff are nice enough except the one when i checked out.

The pillows were a little on the soft side.

The hotel was amazing. It was located right on the river and had amazing views. It was also just steps away from quaint shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was great. The room was beautiful and comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back in the future during the summer, to see what it is like In peak season.

The bed was not overly comfortable for my spouse, who has a disability. She did not sleep very well. The couch was also difficult for her to get up off of. We did not request an accessible room. There was some construction work taking place on the seawall, so it was a little noisy. The young man with the leaf blower at 7:30am each morning woke us up. This does not take away from the overall fantastic time that we had,

We have been wanting to stay at this hotel for some time. We had never been to Clayton before. The location is perfect, right on the St. Lawerence River. I enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the ships go by. The outside seating area was fantastic, with the fire pits. We also ate lunch and dinner, and with the weather being perfect, we ate outside. The food was fantastic. The service/staff were excellent. Turn down service and chocolates were brought each evening. We were able to walk right into downtown Clayton from the hotel.

Location was great...walking distance to a lot. Breakfast was ok...not great...and the wait seemed long.

2 suggestions: need grab bars in the showers for safety and it would be a plus if there were fans in the bathrooms….. Didn’t dislike anything!

The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel is a large, well-maintained hotel right on the water, at the edge of downtown Clayton. We stayed in a king room with a balcony overlooking the river. The room was comfortable and well-furnished. We did not eat in the restaurant, but we heard other guests praising the food. Service was cheerful and efficient. A short walk took us into downtown Clayton with its shops, pubs, breweries and restaurants.
