The rough trail that you can walk around the property. The owners were very kind and keep mostly to themselves the property is beautiful with a free roaming horse and a cat

For the AC to be on and cooling down the unit before I got there would have been nice in this extreme heat we are experiencing right now. It was too hot when I got there. It only had a ceiling fan running that was just moving around the hot air.

I really loved this place. It was simple, but very nice, extremely clean. You have lots of privacy even though the owners are right next door. It's off a winding road in the woods. There were deer everywhere and a cat wandering around that is extremely friendly. There's a nice fire pit with lots of wood available. Be sure it's day time when you arrive. The directions and communication were excellent, but GPS will give you incorrect directions and it can be tricky to find. I would definitely rebook! The only negative thing I would comment on is that the kitchen could be stocked a little better with some mixing bowls and measuring cups. So if you plan on cooking, you might ask about that. Otherwise you have everything you need. It was lovely!

The bedroom could really use a fan. If you have to go to Boerne or surrounding areas a lot, passing through the gates might seem cumbersome.

Amazing guest house in a quiet setting in beautiful hill country. It is close enough to Boerne to make a trip in 15 minutes or so. The guest house is nicely decorated. The area is surrounded by trees and wildlife.

Second gate is a bit wonky to get in when the weather is inclement.

Awesome host! Very helpful and courteous. Provided additional luxuries that werent expected. The property is awesome, my daughter fell in love with the sweet cat, the horse was cute and friendly and location is very quiet, yet close enough to get to downtown Boerne in 10 minutes. Room was comfortable and cool. Will stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The Hill Country was home for many years and our family is from Sisterdale. This was like being home and our great niece and nephew got a taste of what it was like for us growing rather than being city kids. we will return when we go to The Hills.

The bed was a little harder than I like and we had a tendency to fall off the edges because the mattress was wider than the bed frame. Neither issue interfered with our stay or would cause us not to book the place again.

The location was perfect for watching birds and wildlife. It was great to sleep at night with absolutely no sound of traffic and to be able to see the stars.

Was perfect for us, nothing luxurious, but everything we needed, in a wonderful setting.

Wonderful, quiet location with deer roaming the area, a free range horse met and greeted us, made us feel welcome! :-) Sweet kitty roaming around too, made me miss mine. Quaint little cottage tucked away into the hill country above Boerne, so wonderful!

Not much to complain about. I did think there would be more trails to explore based on the pictures, but that was just my perception.

Very comfortable house and very accommodating hosts. The kids loved visiting the animals and exploring the property. The wife and I loved the peace and quiet.

Nothing bad to say!! Very relaxing and quite. Close to San Antonio yet away from the traffic.

Nice kitchen, coffee maker and coffee provided. We snacked and ate a lite breakfast. Only a couple of minutes into town with lots of choices to eat and drink. We saw lots of critters and listened to the turkeys in the morning. Watch the deer, they will walk out of front of your car.
