The place was absolutely fantastic! We loved our stay, the name is definitely true. One of the best things is the breakfast you get served every morning on the terrace while overlooking the ocean! Must stop, totally recommend it!!

We liked everything even the steep driveway was manageable.

Kurt and Kana were delightful and very personable. Kurt shared a wealth of knowledge of the area, but not in an intrusive way. We had the the 2nd floor room with spectacular views. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and fresh, plenty of room with a large balcony, and the breakfasts were wonderful. The breakfasts always included fresh fruits from the farm including their own grown Kona coffee. We highly recommend staying here. Just one item is that the driveway in is a bit steep and narrow in places so you'll need to drive slowly and carefully on the property.

We had a fantastic stay at A Beautiful Edge of the World Bed & Breakfast! The view was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend. The location is great to visit spots on the Kona side of the island. Will definitely be back! Mahalo!

The warmth of the hosts is particularly noteworthy. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this accommodation. As with the other reviews, the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The drive down to the hotel is a bit adventourus. So make sure to arrive during daylight when driving down there the first time. I got good instructions from Kurt so I had no problems with finding my way. I had a normal car and it was fine to drive but I had to drive very slow, I guess a Jeep would be a better option.

The room was very comfy and the shared bathroom was clean and I had everything what I needed. The bed was very comfy and I sleeped really good. I really loved the selfmade breakfast every morning with fresh fruits from the garden. I got something different every day. The view from the balcony was marvelous! Kurt was very nice and shared a lot of tips for nice markets and snorkeling spots. I could also borrow snorkeling gear and a cooling box. As I stayed more than 3 days I could also use the laundary service. I would definitely come back to this place again and again!

The driveway was scary at first but ended up never being a problem. I had a video of driving it but it won’t load here so just drive SLOW. We made it several times in a full size rental.

Kurt and Kana were fantastic hosts! So friendly and generous with their home, hospitality, conversation. The room was spacious, separate from other guests except for breakfast on the lanai. Views from our private lanai complete with exquisite sunsets.

The drive down the road was a bit scary if you come when it’s dark. Plan accordingly if you don’t know the area. Hawaii gets dark really fast and if you are driving down to a place like like the Edgy, it may be a bit scary. But Kurt met us at the entrance with a light to guide us. The best day we laugh about the drive and we enjoy the small drive down the Edge.

I enjoyed the location, but I enjoyed meeting Kurt and Kana more. They were nice people and treated us well. The food was amazing. I never experienced bed and breakfast. This experience was very unique because we had fresh fruits and something new everyday. Thank Doctor Kurt and I hope one day we can met again. Mahalo!

We are still a bit speechless - it is so beautiful here. Kurt and Kana are wonderful hosts, their B&B is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Even more, Kana makes an incredibly delicious breakfast and the coffee is outstanding. If vacationing on Big Isalnd, then only with Kurt and Family: thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay. Everything is fine and smooth. Just be aware, that driving down to the property is somewhat challenging. The route is small and quit steep. However, it is feasible even with a Chevrolet Silverado. And with the sketch you will get in advance easy to find.

An absolutely great spot to spend some days on Hawai‘i. I stayed in the Crow‘s Nest, the room on top of the house. You have an extraordinary view on the tropical landscape and the ocean. Sun sets must be absolutely breathtaking (if there are now clouds). The view is great from the lanai on the main floor as well. My room was spacious with many windows overlooking the great landscape. The washroom has a big shower. There is a spacious room to put your clouts. And there is a personal fridge as well. The Crow‘s Nest comes with a totally privat lanai. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts are very friendly and helpful when you need any information on the surroundings. If you stay there for at least three nights, you can have your washing done for free. There is a nice hammock on the main lanai, I spent quite some time reading there. The breakfasts are freshly cooked, nice and healthy. They come with fresh fruits from the property. And with nice coffee grown on the property as well. So truly a great place to stay!

Our hosts, Kurt & Kana, offered amazing hospitality! Breakfast was filled with fruit from their farm and accompanied by their very own coffee, which was second to none! Kurt talked with us every morning and evening to help us plan our day and made excellent suggestions to enhance our visit. We are already planning our next stay!

The road was a little bumpy on the way to the house, but don't let that put you off! It was absolutely worth the beautiful scenery

Kurt was very helpful with suggestions on what to do on the island and what to not waste our time on Kana cooked us delicious breakfasts and even a takeaway breakfast one morning when we left early. We had the most relaxing time at Kurt and Kana's bed and breakfast! It is a beautiful spot to stay Listening to the sounds of nature while going to sleep was lovely.

The drive into the property is an adventure in itself. The hosts (Mary and Joe) were fabulous and treated us just like family. The breakfasts were excellent and it was very relaxing. There are only three units so you felt like you were in a house and it was never crowded. we had the top “crows nest” unit and were surrounded by wonderful views out of every window. The cooler weather at the higher elevation of the plantation was a nice plus.

Incredible view, spacious, private room, delicious locally-grown breakfast and coffee, very close to some excellent snorkeling spots, and friendly hosts. Couldn't ask for a better experience! The only caution I'll give future travelers is that driving to this property involves negotiating some steep, narrow, and unpaved sections of road. It's passable with a normal sedan but a little "exciting", especially if its dark or raining, so just be prepared for that.

Edge of the World is the reason why we choose to stay at B&Bs and meet the local people. Excellent accommodations, room was large and filled with light and breathtaking view of the island. Kurt and Kana were great hosts, providing us with delicious breakfast and lots of great advice to visit places.

Kurt and Kana are amazing hosts who are happy to share their knowledge of the island. They are gracious and thoughtful- we had to leave early our last day and they set us up with coffee and banana bread. Would highly recommend staying here.
