The view was amazing - the front desk girls went above and beyond - even writing a hand written note in our room wishing us a happy anniversary - along with a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. They really made our night. The valet was prompt and very courteous. Over all a great experience - right down to the shampoo and body gel in the shower - convenient dispensing!!

Fitness room was top quality equipment, with towels and water. But it faces west with all windows and the room thermostat said 86F when I went to work out because no shades were down and the room was cooking. Morning or evening workouts would be better than afternoon in summer.

Beautiful rooms, super clean, everything felt brand new. Eno Vino resturant on 10th floor with a terrace bar overlooking the Capital is a great view.

The lack of paper information. We didn’t realize there was a bar and restaurant on the top floor until we had breakfast the day we checked out.

I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

We had a corner lake view room which was serene and spotless. We ate an extensive dinner upstairs with an old friend from high school as well as happy hour cocktails and apps before going out one night, and late night food and drinks at the bar on another night. The atmosphere was fun and the service were was excellent. Also, hydrating station on our floor was super handy.

The workout facilities were tiny. We crammed in the little gym with 6 other people.

Breakfast was delicious. The only bad thing was they offered 2 things each morning and they were the same our entire 4 night stay. Variety is the spice of life. I did enjoy the breakfast area.

The rooms are not soundproofed and the zooming cars kept us awake but after 2 am the noise died down. The mattresses would help if they were softer, but that's just my preference.

The AC Kitchen lounge staff were exceptional with their humbling services. The hostesses were very attentive, respectful, cordial, and very professional. They made us feel at home, and we felt like they were part of our family. The front desk staff were very helpful in storing our luggages after checkout to allow us to tour the Gorgeous Madison city without having to drag our bags with us. The facility is really really clean including the bathrooms and walk-in showers! Love the idea of being given the option to have the housekeeping crew come clean your room after departure and not during your stay per your request due to Covid...Love this IDEA!

Beautiful property in the heart of Madison- a small view of the Capitol right out our window. If you are booking for the view- make sure to request an upper floor. Floor 2 got us a view of the sign and brick, not quite what I was expecting- but was my fault for not requesting a upper floor. The room was nice and comfy, no complaints. We walked through the upper floors lounge and bar- it’s really lovely! Walking distance to pretty much everything- that was the best part!

The room was cold. 63 degrees even after having a staff member check it. Not the best after walking about downtown on a Wisconsin winter night.

The location was great. The room was small but clean with a nice view. The Eno Vino bistro was a fun night cap.

Breakfast was expensive for what was offered. Much of the food was cold, and the staff didn't replenish drinks without being asked. The room was ok but very expensive for what it was, and the shower door was broken so it didn't completely close and water got everywhere and when I asked for extra towels to deal with it, I was treated like I asked for a kidney and they actually never came. I asked to have a food package delivered to my niece's room as it was her wedding night - I wanted to deliver it myself but was not permitted to do so - and the package was never delivered and was "lost" and when I brought this to the staff attention the next day the email "apology" that I received was the worst. It actually made me more upset and never actually apologized for the incident. And I was never offered anything in terms of compensation for the package I left with the front desk staff.

Being able to walk to the Capitol was great and the view from the restaurant was great.

What I didn't like about my stay: having my door wide open when I come back to the hotel; walking in to find tons of rust coming out of the toilet; and my favourite point, after traveling and being awake for 24 hours and driving the last two hours, I loved having the valet tell me I couldn't park/load my baggage in the hotel driveway and had to move the car. Lastly, after talking with management about the issues, they promised they would do something to make it up and they never followed up. This is not what I expect from anything tied to a Marriott honestly. I would expect them to have their stuff together. On this trip and in Madison, that was not the case.
