I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this motel but seriously don’t be fooled by the word “motel.” Stayed here for 6 nights at one of their suites that had a kitchenette. Would definitely stay again! Location is great and the staff was always available if you needed any help. The beds are a bit rough as far as comfort but they are clean. If you’re sensitive to this, bring a mattress topper. They provided enough pillows so I was able to adjust. The location is further from the main Wildwood boardwalk but I didn’t mind walking. You’re closer to the far end that did have your basic boardwalk food, snacks, and arcades - just none of the rides. There are some great eateries nearby as well that’s walking/biking distance. The pool area was also clean. Stayed after the Labor Day craze so it wasn’t too crowded and I appreciated how they spaced out their guests. Some places really don’t think or care about that.

Sofa beds are always uncomfortable. Murphy beds would be better.

Some of the outlets did not work in room 201 but we made due. It would be nice to have an outlet in the main area with USB ports

the place was so clean and secluded. I will recommend this place to EVERYONE. The pool area was perfect. I loved seeing the progress of the facility upgrading sofas in units, I will be booking again for sure! Thank you for keeping the property so nice!

This is a great place to stay in Wildwood. The staff is friendly, room was super clean and comfortable. I left my jacket and they kept it safe until a family member was able to pick it up. Highly recommend this motel.

Love how clean the pool is! They maintain it daily. The studio room we stayed at is comfy and clean. Friendly staff. Great location! Walking distance to Wildwood boardwalk.

Stayed for one night with a family of 5. We really are only in the room to change shower and sleep but it was clean it was cool and it was what we need for the time we were there. Highly recommend if you are doing a 1-2 day trip. Good location walking distance to things and quick drive if you don’t want to walk.

The pool was shaded in the latter part of the afternoon and property was 2 blocks from beach on a busy street.

These are not huge problems but if I'm giving full review... Couch/sofa bed was uncomfortable and room gets warm (thermostat goes down to 70 only, that's probably fine in most rooms but not this one)

It’s was clean, laundry on premises, grills for bbqing, pool was always clean, and staff was friendly. Close to the beach and boardwalk, walking distance to many restaurants as well. Short drive to the grocery stores.

I just recently brought my whole family to my child hood memory Motel. My mom would rent out weeks at a time coming here in the summers. We were from North Bergan. I now live on the Jersey Shore with my family about and hour & a half away. I got to speak to the new owners. I wish them the best of luck in continuing to make the Ala Moana the best kept secret in Wildwood. I will highly recommend staying here anytime u visit. My trip back to my childhood Motel brought back so many memories I can now make with my family. My wife was totally shocked when we got there. Her quote u did a fantastic job putting us in a great Motel experience in Wildwood. I am still so estasctic & in shock about feeling the way I did when I arrived. Still clean, New friendly staff that are going to keep the Ala Moana hidden secret still alive. My family & I are looking forward to coming back asap. God bless the staff keep up the great work. Wildwood has been our summer vacation spot for years, and this has been the cleanest most comfortable place with private balcony and quiet street we’ve ever been to. Staff at desk was extremely friendly and welcoming! This will definitely be our place to stay from now on.
