It was supposed to be a room for 3-4 people but the coach did not pull out. There was no extra bedding so it was good that we brought a sleeping bag with us to use.

The heat was not easy to adjust, and I I needed to call the office. The instructions on how to get into the breakfast/laundry are incomplete.

Almost right on the highway, yet it was absolutely quiet. Even though I only stayed one night, I liked having the possibility of a kitchen.

Located about halfway between Fairbanks and Tok, Alaska Frontier Inn is a true lodging gem. Our room with two queen beds and spacious kitchenette looked new, with modern furnishings and was generously stocked with linens, kitchen appliances, cooking utensils and dinnerware. Our room even had a fullsize refrigerator, although that might not be standard for all rooms. The contactless check-in gave us our room assignment and door code before we arrived, so we were able to settle in quickly without waiting at a busy front desk, which the Inn doesn't have or need. At the time of our stay, the Inn provided free laundry facilities and self-service continental breakfast items. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own hot breakfast items, just like we were at home. While the outside of the Inn was clean and neat, it didn't hint that we were checking in to a four star lodging. Outstanding lodging for a 70 year old couple celebrating their 50th anniversary with a road trip to Alaska.

The online check-in was a little bit of a challenge but I’m old and not tech savvy.

The manager was super friendly and helpful. Went out of his way for us. The property offered free laundry. Nice location on a major road but still very quiet.

It’s a few miles outside of center of delta junction. There’s no receptionist and the online checkin duplicates most of the same info given to booking.com. Also requiring digital copy of drivers license is an unnecessary personal security risk

They only sent you chekc-in instruction at 1pm check-in day but it was not clearly mentioned. They did sent it via text which makes it easier for folks without wifi access onn the road.

The breakfast is just some bars and cereals (oatmeals as well) but adequate. Free laundry facilities (self operated washer/dryer, no coins needed). Good internet/wifi. Slef-checkin.

This was my favorite and best place that I stayed at during my two travels to Alaska from the US on a motorcycle. The property was superb, communications was quick and easy. The room was perfect, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a restful sleep. The self-service laundry and breakfast was fantastic. Thanks for providing such awesome accommodations!

Only issue for us was that our room was facing evening sun set so it was warm very long for the night (and no air condition there).

Room was big and small kitchen included more equipment than we expected i.e. you were able to create very nice meal there by your self if you liked that way.

The exterior appearance was a real put off but once we opened our room, we forgot about what the inn looked like from the highway.

We just needed a room for the night so this was perfect. Everything, including check-in, was self-serve. There was no staff we saw at any time. That could also be construed as a negative depending on your needs and preferences.

I was very impressed with this property, my room and customer service. I live in Alaska, passing through Delta Junction on occasional road trips. Having found Alaska Frontier Inn this most recent trip, booking last minute, and enjoying such ease and comfort, I will absolutely always check with them first for availability for any overnight stay in the future. I have already recommended this Inn to friends in Alaska. Alaska Frontier Inn is a gem!

Everything was great!

We thought this would be a very average place like most older-style strip motels. But, boy, were we wrong. When you get inside, you'll be very impressed with the cleanliness, size and amenities. This motel completely exceeded our expectations and we'd certainly stay here again if we're in the area. (By the way, the kitchen area had a lot more amenities than you'd expect in this type of place.)
