Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Although the staff, Susan in particular, bend over backwards to help, the cabinets are chipped, the walls are really dirty near the floor, and I found hair in a freshly cleaned bathroom. The pool area is great. The rooms are spacious, but in need of a clean up.
It is a good location relative to Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Sanibel Island.

United StatesCouch and chairs sit very low - we are older , when we used the area for TV, etc. this made our knees higher than the sitting position - making it more uncomfortable to stand and sit. In addition a help along this view would be taller toilets. Understand neither of these are likely deal breakers but would be helpful for your older customers. Staffing for room cleaning, etc. was short - which made the cleanliness of our suite mostly our responsibility rather than yours. This could be a deal breaker down the road - we understand that today keeping staff and hiring good people is difficult.
Queen suite - of decent and comfortable size. People were cordial and friendly. 2 TVs - one older and one flat screen. It would have made the room better had the better TV ( flat one) was in the sitting area. This is not a deal breaker. Full size refrigerator with freezer is very good.
