Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI was apprehensive about self service check in, but I was called the day before and the process was explained clearly.
We only stayed one night and wish it could have been longer. Easy self check in with a request for an earlier check in accommodated. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The fire place was a nice touch and made the room really cosy. We were delighted with this hotel after being on the road for many days/nights. Good location and definitely value for money.

United StatesThe room wasn’t super clean, there was used tissue papers on the floor and the floor had lots of pieces of dirt everywhere. Bathroom definitely needs updated and soaps/shampoo they had available were terrible quality. This hotel was a contactless check in / check out. Some aspects of this was nice, especially when we got in late our first night but the whole experience didn’t seem personable at all. The bed wasn’t super comfortable and was quite squeaky. The walls were really thin so you could hear your neighbors very easily (Nextdoor and upstairs).
Location was great! It’s about a ten minute walk to the gondola, you really couldn’t get closer! An electric fire place was in our room which added a nice touch to the ambiance. The text message service the hotel had was very responsive which was great! They also let us park in the parking lot for a few extra hours after we checked out so that we could board.

United StatesI received about 7 messages prior to my check-in, which could have been reduced to maybe 2. The power went off, so our heater was off until staff came to reset it, which took a minute. Staff also had to come into our room while we were gone since the breakers were in our room. However, they did ask for permission to enter, and I had no problem with it, personally. When we came back, none of our personal belongings were moved or lost. It was more of a minor inconvenience.
The location was great. Everything we came to do in Tahoe was within a 2 mile radius, so that was a major plus. The room was spacious and clean. Although the parking lot was small, we had no trouble finding an available spot. I also liked the pre-check in procedure and contactless check-in.

United StatesI didn’t like that there were other people’s hair everywhere in the room, the kitchen sink was dirty, there was only enough sugar for coffee for 2 servings. people were moved to the second floor at 12 o'clock at night and until 2 o'clock they made a lot of noise. Very thin walls. The handles on the bedside tables are torn off. The beds are definitely not king size
I liked that the hotel is contactless, there is a mini kitchen, a coffee maker and enough coffee. There is a TV. Very close to the center, uphill.

Really great hotel. Easy check in, wonderful room, great fireplace, firm but comfy mattress. Never saw any staff or guests, so felt very private. Tons of free coffee pods and coffee maker. A very short walk to town and casinos.

the location is just a minute or two from heavenly village. The room are so neatly done, clean sheets, and everything clean. Very accomodating, quick response to whatever queries. I had a request for early check-in, there was no promises but they tried their best to accomodate my request even if last minute we were late for check in due to unforeseen car wmergency.
