Floor in our room was pretty dirty. Obvious dog smell when we first walked in.

I booked the room prepaid with no cancellation .. they then informed me of $100 pet fee for my 30 pound Scottish Terrier ! I asked about $40 which is reasonable and they would not give me my key until I signed for $100

    Beautiful !

Price for Eclipse stay didn't have to double. :(

Nice old building-- but very well updated decor. had a nice vibe to it. A Beautiful pool located out back--overlooking San Antonio from the hill it is located on. We stayed for the eclipse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms with lg king beds. quiet as well! mini kitchenette was nice as well as a keurig machine. wish they had hot cocoa tho s we don't drink coffee. NICE plush towels for a change from most places I am used to staying.

Arrived a lot earlier to enjoy it and checked out later but was just passing through. great place to rest for the night and shower.

Didn't have to climb to many stairs to get to room since it was upstairs. Room was really clean had no issues. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful in checking in and out, View from our room was amazing. highly recommend the stay.

For the price that we paid for the hotel, it should’ve came at least one meal and more cream and sugar for the coffee. We had to run to McDonald’s for breakfast and coffee. The telephone was not working in the room and for whatever reason we could not reach the landline through our cell service. Then.

The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. It was obvious that it is well cared for.

Honestly just not worth what we paid. The TV and direct-tv barely worked and we kept having to restart the box. Beds and sheets were comfortable but for more than $200 a night you might expect softer sheets and towels. Also no breakfast some the bistro is under construction unless you pay out of pocket. Just felt more like you paid "boutique" price but not necessarily boutique feel. Still a great stay tho. Beautiful area.

Location is great and the staff was wonderful. Allowed us to check in a little early because we were with a wedding party.

    The price.was too high.

From the deck outside the main window the view from 200 feet high on HWY 90 was spectacular. No breakfast, but a Bistro on the premises servied Brunch and Dinner and large selection of Wines.

We stayed in room 107. There was rust on the fridge, mold under the microwave, the sink was cracked... there was paint, dirt, dust, and soap residue in almost every corner of the room and bathroom. We were only in town for a funeral so for two nights, we over looked the issues, the bed was okay and the tv was nice. The best thing about the room was the balcony as it did have a nice view, but that led straight into a back parking lot and there were a lot of roaming street cats. Not too bad, we dont mind cats, but my 7-year-old was obsessed with trying to catch them which made even being outside uncomfortable. 10/10 for location and price but 6/10 for the overall room itself.

We stayed in room 107. At first look the hotel was nice... but only if you didnt look too closely at the details. Please see the not liked portion of this form so that you can have a better understanding of the reason I was not too happy overall.

    Maybe a jazuzzi.

The layout of the room and bathroom with the alcove for coffee and microwave area worked well. The sliding door made good use of the space, the balcony and outside view was spectacular at sunset.

Incredibly overpriced. It’s a fancy motel. Front faces the highway, and the back view on my ‘sun deck’ was of the assisted living facility across the street.

clean, nicely appointed. Staff was very pleasant.
