Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaPlease be aware for many people it's not ski/in out , and need to take the free shuttle to Collins or Albion lifts , although we only waited 2 mins at most as it is very frequent
My family enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere , the meals were very good and had choices to suit everyone As am gluten-free was concerned that might be minimal choices , but plenty of variety The fruit salad was freshly cut up each meal , not cut up day before and going off Enjoyed fresh fruit at reception each day and also the free coffee machine in lobby , very well placed as it as at top of stairs from ski locker and nice to grab a cup and sit down at end of day having included lunch was great , and the food on the slopes was poor by comparison Staff very friendly and great team spirit , Todd the GM is there most days and helps out , not stuck in an office in Salt lake city , Patrick Pike the rooms manager managed to squeeze us in for an extra night on Presidents weekend , Free Shuttle to Collins and Albion lifts driven by Dave , gave everyone tips on which areas to ski Maddie in restaurant was super efficient and very good liaising with chef to check gluten free status We liked sitting with different people each meal , learning about different areas of country

United StatesThe vibe at the Peruvian is the best part, it’s got a laid back old school energy that is really special.

United StatesThe staff at the front desk was so-so. I asked for two extra pillows and they only brought one. I've seen more friendly faces. The place is celebrating its seventy-fifth year and it is showing its age. I noticed a number of issues that required some maintenance. It could be kept cleaner, especially the showers and toilets.
At the Peruvian, breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included in the price. The breakfast and lunch are plentiful, and the dinner is absolutely first rate. They vary their dinner menus each night. The wait staff is very good and very helpful. The rooms were wonderful - except it was hard to regulate the heat. But there was shelf space and a sink in the room. The hot tub is hot!!! Which I appreciate. Actually, they have a hot tub, warm tub and heated pool. Take your pick. There is also a sauna and hors de oerves are brought out at about 4:30. Awesome.

United StatesAll the meals were very good! They had a fireplace or two going most of the stay. Hot tub was nice and hot Very friendly staff! Highly recommended !! Ask your shuttle driver from the airport to make a pit stop on the way to the mountain, if you want . There are not any markets up on the mountain

United StatesThe rooms were downright awful. We had two single beds and my mattress felt like it was hostel level quality. It was so soft (and I like soft beds) that when I rolled over it would start tipping and I'd nearly roll out of bed. The sheets were paper thin and so old that the fitted sheet would come off every night. We had a 6" square hole in our wall and no temperature control in the room. I didn't expect posh, but this was levels below a Motel 6. My son and I slept poorly throughout our stay.
It was nice to have meals with other skiers. Like the chill, low key vibe of the place. The breakfasts were hardy and the dining room staff was nice.

United StatesOur room/bathroom was very dated. It was without heat. No heat! They provide a space heater, but there wasn’t a smoke detector. Seems dangerous if not illegal. One of the bedside lamps was broken. We asked for an extra lamp multiple times with no success. We were there with other guests and saw 4 other rooms, they were all better than ours, but we all are paying about the same price. It’s all inclusive and the dinner menu was small - the mains never changed and the dishes were inconsistent and poorly prepared. It seems like they are slowly updating the place and we ended up with one of the worst rooms.
location, location, location. Proximity to the mountain and shuttle back and forth was the single selling point. This is what you pay for. The ski shop is excellent and that staff was very helpful. The bar is fun.
