I can only think of one thing which was the temperature of the room was set at 69 when we entered and when I tried to set the temperature to a higher temp it seemed to get to that temperature 72 but while we were sleeping it dropped back down to 69. I’m not sure if the heater control was broken or if it was to save the hotel money. It was a minor annoyance.

Motel 6 experience is exactly what I look for when all I need is Clean , Comfortable and affordable. The young lady that welcomed us when we checked in around 8pm was friendly and professional. No other Hotel comes close to the value.

I’m an early morning swimmer. I didn’t like the 8am pool hour. When I arrived, there were already kids in the pool. I couldn’t get my swim aerobic workout in which was very disappointing. Thank you for the late night adult swim though. Too late for me though.

Only thing was they were updating and paint cans were piled up when you used the back entrance. Other than that it was really nice.

The nasty windows, we were in room 208 if you want to check them. Towels could have been a little bigger but they served their purpose.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean, however, the windows were damaged or just very filthy with a streaky film over the whole thing, we weren't in the room much but it was still not nice to open the curtains and see the windows looking bad. The room came with coffee and coffee cups but no coffee pot. We didn't complain because my husband just went down to the lobby for coffee. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Our room smelled strongly of carpet freshener and I am sensitive to strong smells.

The bed was comfortable and looked like they were in progress of renovations/updates.

There were people smoking at both entry doors constantly, especially the back door. Cigarette butts everywhere. The hallway also smelled like marijuana. Former smoker here so I get it, but seriously. I have small kids and didn't love all the smoke exposure. Also, there apparently weren't any extra pillows anywhere in the hotel. Even with an extra bed, we were given a folded up blanket for one of our kids to use. There is no breakfast available. Overall it's an ok place to stay and they are working on it and we would likely stay again, these are just a few areas that could stand some improvement.

Affordable, they are working on improving the facilities.

I wish coffee was available 24/7. It would be nice if something was offered for breakfast. Even if it's just a bagel with cream cheese and a piece of fresh fruit.

The hot tub and pool were nice after a long day of hiking the beautiful area. We stayed during the week and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Probably the cleanest and nicest Motel 6 I've ever seen. It was a great centrally located landing spot for us during the week while we took day trips exploring the UP. We will definitely be returning to stay when we visit the UP again.🙂

We stayed 3 nights and they never went to clean the room, even when we asked for that.

The place was amazing for the price we were paying. With a lot of space in the room and amenities in the hotel, like a pool.
