Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

Booked a room. Rate changed, $32.00 USD more. Was lied to about City Tax. I showed them there was no such thing in the state of Indiana. I am a Disabled Combat Veteran and believe I was discriminated against. I have a hard copy of my bill and plan on forwarding it to the AG's office in Indiana State Building. The research is thorough. United StatesThe night attendant was rude and took about 30 minutes to check in, noticed a sign saying that the location didn't offer refunds for any reason, that was the first red flag aside from the location, heading to the room noticed that the grounds didn't get much care, after getting to the room noticed the smell of body oder and urine filled the room the room hadn't been cleaned the beds were stained unsafe electrical outlets for AC the tub had hair and toilet paper in it, the furniture had definitely been better days the microwave was missing the turn table and then there's the insect problem. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at some of the shadiest places but this is by far the worst I have ever seen, this place was so bad that I took the loss of the money paid for the room and left with in 10 minutes of checking in.
There is absolutely nothing to like about the place,.

Prostitutes, vagrants, the clerk that checked us in made me initial the fact that there were NO REFUNDS under any conditions BEFORE I could see the room. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

ItalyLet's start with the welcome. Before arriving 3 times the structure told me that the credit card was refused, which is strange since I had used 3 different credit cards and all working. Arriving at the hotel, the staff rudely tells me that the reservation has been canceled (when in reality it was not true because the site still gave it ok) and that if I wanted to stay overnight I would have to make another reservation. I ask how much it would cost me and from the 70 dollars of my reservation I am asked for 470. Well 400 dollars more than my reservation !!!! I remind the hotel staff that the reservation was not canceled and that they should have honored the reservation and charged me the correct amount of 70 but the clerk insists there is nothing he can do. This treatment has never happened to me in any hotel in the world !!! I find it unfair and shameful that a hotel cancels an active reservation to increase the price. I contacted the Booking customer service (whom I thank for their availability and professionalism) who agreed with me and contacted the structure. I was then notified that I could check in with the correct price. Room: I had to go to reception 3 times because the card did not open the door, once I entered the room I wanted to escape! dilapidated room, dirty sheets, with hair and smelly, faucet that did not work, toilet that moved when you sat down and an unbearable smell in the room. In addition, I wanted to report the total state of abandonment of the pool area and the center of the hotel. I strongly advise against this hotel! I think that the misbehavior of the hotel staff is enough to be able to remove it from booking and I hope you don't make the same mistake as me of booking them.
