Manager was very difficult to understand and was not friendly. I realize that he may not be very fluent with English and am willing to accept that, however he needs to be more hospitable when welcoming guests. Was the same way in the morning, I would suggest that he practice a nice greeting and ask people to return again when they leave. It was also difficult to find the right entrance off of the freeway. A sign is needed at the driveway into the gas station that indicates the turn to the motel. It was dark and the turn is right off a roundabout, making it hard to find. I mentioned it to the manager and he agreed a sign was needed. Otherwise the stay was good.

Given I’ma city girl, the location was a little bit rural for my liking. Very nice but too rural for me

I didn’t have the breakfast, I liked that it was a small establishment husband and wife.

The facility was a little dated and the carpet in the room i think needed a little cleaning. Breakfast was a little disappointing, but i was able to fill up on what was available.

The location was perfect for my needs, right off the highway and well placed between major metro areas with convenient access to some shops for small purchases and good local food options. During my stay the AC went out and the management quickly moved me to another room and even helped me move all my stuff over!

As for the breakfast, there was none. Coffee was hot but only bagels were offered. After we arrived, we saw that they were not offering breakfast because of Covid. That could have been mentioned before committing to the reservation.

It was very quiet. We enjoyed the peaceful rest.

The staff was ok, the reception person carried on a personal phone conversation the while checking me in, very disconcerting. Otherwise the staff were pleasant and considerate.

The room was clean and adequately furnished. The price was reasonable.

Everything. The whole building has a strong terrible smell. At times I could smell the stinch outside of the building. The bathroom smelt like mold. The shower caulking had mold all over it. The owners are very awkward & not welcome at all. Check in process was slow as heck even though I paid when I booked the room. Stains on the carpets all over the building. Clearly can tell they’ve never had their floors shampooed. Terrible breakfast select. Poor maintenance across the board. Owner was wearing flip flops worn dry scaly feet. Overall this place is terrible & disgusting. Wear shower shoes or flips in the shower & do not go barefoot.

Our room had a horrible odor like mold. The bathroom toilet leaked. The ac unit stopped working on the first night we were there and by morning the floor was soaking wet from the ac unit. We reported it all to the front and they only put a ice bucket under the leaking pipe in the bathroom. All the breakfast items were watered down.

No bathroom in the lobby. No luggage carts. Fridge didn't work very well. Hard to find entrance from the highway.

Nothing. It was awesome.

I had been driving for two days and was exhausted so I went for the king jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi was so relaxing, but I also liked the size of the room, it was huge and open floor plan made it not feel all cramped up like most hotel rooms do. They also welcomed my little dog that was traveling with me, there was a pet fee but it was only a few bucks. Idk if there is anything to do in Fredonia Kansas but I will go back just to get away from it all and soak in that wonderful jacuzzi! The man who checked me in, Danny, was very nice and explained everything I need to know. Unfortunately I slept too late for breakfast.
