Locating entry very difficult. Requested 1st floor, got 2nd Door lock didn't work properly requiring an 88 yr traverse the stairs 2 more times.

The update to the bathroom

I did not like how hot it was in our room when we first got in. There was not a security latch on our front door, there was not a smoke detector on the wall (looks like it was taken down), the tv would not turn on and the trim in the bathroom was laying on the floor not intact.

How easy check in was. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was very friendly.

That it is advertised with a pool and free breakfast, but the pool has been filled in with concrete, and they no longer do the free breakfast.

Beds seemed not very comfortable, didn't like both beds shoved against wall, one bed would have been better for this size room. How does one get out of bed to go to bathroom in middle of night. Kick partner out of bed? Only had 1 foam coffee cup. NO plastic drinking cups for 2 people . We did need to take pills. Used this foam cup for my dentures overnight in water. Not very appealing for husband to use that cup for pills. Towels was another issue. ONE bath towel, One hand towel, ONE wash cloth for two people. Didn't check in until after 11pm and left at 7 am so not much time to run after extra supplies.

Liked the price . Used to stay here for every home Husker Football game for several years. when we had a wedding in Lincoln, we chose this place again. Remodeling breakfast room so they sent us a sack breakfast but missed a good cup of coffee for a wake up.

Although the place was being remodeled, everything was disheveled. Random funiture laying about in the hall ways. Dirty carpet. Hall ways smelled of slight mold and the aesthetics weren’t pleasing at all. Shady people roaming about. The hall ways smelled of guest(s) cooking in their rooms. Not microwaving. Cooking. Which made me believe people live there; and there is only one type of person that pays rent at a hotel. But i’ll leave that alone. If you’re flying through town ALONE and just need a bed and 4 walls, you might consider this place. Not recommended for family or anything over 1 night. I booked this place to try to save a buck. Some things are just not worth pinching pennies for. I will not be booking here again. The staff was nice though!

Didn’t have the breakfast. Location wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t horrible. However, there’s a rachet looking adult store right next to the hotel.

Cleanliness of rooms is ok in main areas but under bed behind furniture is bad. No TP or wash clothes. Staff was excellent checking in and HK was good when i requested TP and wash clothes. Cigarette smell was strong in hallways. Great staff

Snow removal wasn’t great. Construction materials left all over. Trouble getting the TV to work. Mini fridge froze all of my food. Continental breakfast was not at all appealing.

I waited an hour to get checked in after a long drive to NE. I was finally found somewhere in their system-verse, by someone in Alabama. Staff on duty got me a room that was available ("aka" was really not meant to be assigned). They were not expecting me. It was almost 2 am & we just wanted rest (too late to go out searching for another place). My kids also felt the effect. I got switched to another bit more pleasant room the next day.
