Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not clean. Had to switch rooms twice for dirty sheets and then in the second room for ants. It was unfortunate. The manager was not friendly and accused me of stealing a garbage can, which I still don't understand.

United StatesThe heat was set at 77° when I got the room. I had to run the A/C to cool the room down, but the fan was so loud I just turned it off. There was also a heavy “air freshener” smell in the room.
The place was quiet, until the construction workers warmed up their trucks at 6:00 am.

United StatesThe price is over priced for the location. $100 a night is double what I would expect for out in the middle of nowhere, especially for a motel and not a hotel. Talk about price gouging…. Also, all the tile needs replaced. The tile and grout are probably original to the building and the grout is super thick and way dirty after years and years of absorbing who knows what. The new coat of paint is nice, but doesn’t match the old tile. Also, thick beads of caulk (at least as wide as my thumb) everywhere in the bathroom and around the sink countertop isn’t a professional look. Probably hiding lack of craftsmanship on the install/remodel. The towels were horrible, small and super thin. Not absorbent at all. The body towels are toddler size, no joke. For $100 a night in the middle of nowhere, decent towels would be a minimal expectation. $40-$50 a night would be a more than fair price for a motel in the middle of “no man’s land”.
Location was good and the fresh paint was nice and the sheets seemed clean.
