Rooms are rather small, but have refrigerator and microwave, so a lot is packed into a relatively small space.

Good location near the boardwalk and beside the police station. Very nice staff. Hotel shows it’s age, but is very well cared for. Small, clean swimming pool.

Ive been going to the ancor for a few years now multiple times a season....the family that owns it is great ..the rooms are clean and pretty much the best your going to get for the price point . The location is great as its right behind the police station 2 blocks off the boardwalk

The room is very small and does not have a coffee maker. Although there is a 7-11 one block away, I would have loved to be able to make my own.

The location for the price! 2 blocks to the beach, the water park, and the ride section of the boardwalk! I had 2 young children with me, ages 3 and 4, and both were able to handle walking even after a day at the beach and night on the boardwalk! Right next to the police station, so it also made me feel safe walking at night.

Mattresses were a bit too hard, the room was really tight with 3 beds(we could barely move with 5 of us) & parking was super tight

the rooms are a little dated and not 5 star quality but that was to be expected... there definitely could be minor renovations made and a little more diligence when cleaning but the location and price really make it worth it...

less than a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk/ocean... a lot of activities to do within walking distance... the staff was also incredibly kind and helpful when needing assistance.

Price was very expensive. Outdated kitchen, fixtures. Beds were not to comfy.

The anchor motel has a convenient location. It is located a couple of minutes from the board walk. The apartment was clean. Some of the items can be updated as it was very outdated. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and always on site so I felt very safe there with my family. Communication was excellent. Parking was close to room. I would visit again.

Relatively quiet given the proximity to the beach, boardwalk, water park. We were able to get a restful nights sleep each night! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They were gracious and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

The staff were all very happy, kind and helpful. Even told us where to park for free on the day we were checking out! Just a block and half from the boardwalk. 7-11 is a block away to grab some ice! Small but clean, which is perfectly fine as we spent all our time on the beach/boardwalk. Firehouse and police station is right behind the property, so there are no safety issues at all.

The bathroom was pretty small, but the affordability of the room made up for it!

Friendliness of the owners, the location to the boardwalk and beach, and the cleanliness and temperature of the pool was amazing! The owner cleaned the pool every night, and while it was on the small side, there were times when we were the only people in the pool. This was our first time in Seaside Heights, and we will definitely be back to this motel again next year!

Great crash pad at the shore! Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff works very hard to please and manage the crowds well. I was worried about loud kids after hours but had no issues at all. Good value.

We stayed in a three bed room that was small for three full sized beds. I wish they had been twin sized, honestly. We were really squished together and I did disturb my friend getting up in the night because I couldn't help bumping her bed. The beds were way too close together and the room felt small. I also felt like there should have been more hanging rods for towels. They only clean your room or bring new towels on request so we were trying to reuse towels but hanging three towels proved difficult as we also wanted to dry our swimsuits. Still, it was a clean, inexpensive room. I would totally book it again given the price and location. Any inconveniences were minor and really it was a good place to crash after visiting the beach and boardwalk.

This Motel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the check in process well and answered all my questions. The motels location was great. It was just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. It was also inexpensive when compared to other motels. The room was very tidy. The bathroom was nice. I loved having a mini fridge and microwave. It was very convenient. The air conditioning also worked great.

the water comes out piping hot unless you turn it towards cold, which is better than only having cold water anyway. the sink took a while to drain so you need to wait a few minutes in between using, but that wasn’t a big deal.

I was very happy with our stay at anchor motel. It's located about 1.5 blocks from the beach/boardwalk and it's directly next door to the police station, needless to say it was nice and quiet . It's definitely not a party motel which we were completely happy about. All in all it was a really nice stay. Rooms were your average small motel room and they were clean.

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable, and the pillows a bit flat. The towels weren't great either, but that's the experience I've had at other motels as well.

Very basic, but had everything we needed (fridge, beds, shower). The pool was nice! The location was great—close to the beach and boardwalk.
